Tremors and Campers let's talk camping!!

Is anyone else here members of Thousands Trails? We received a free 13 month membership when we purchased our Grand Designs Transcend from LazyDays. I believe it is equal to the $500 "camping pass".

So far it has been great, we have stayed for free nearly every weekend at various RV resorts around Florida when we are not traveling long distances. Looking forward to checking out the locations in the Keys this summer.

If anyone else is a member maybe we can set up a Tremor weekend. We plan on visiting as many locations as we can on the East Coast this year.

Nice! We were right there at 17 days from Tampa to Utah. Goes by too quick. My truck had 8 miles in January and is now right at 11,000. 9,000 of those have been with the trailer connected.

I keep telling myself "remember the Tremor is a tool not an investment."

My last truck was nearly 4 years old and still under 35,000 miles. Totally different world for me.
 
We just got to San Antonio from Madison, VA this afternoon. Over about 1700 miles of driving 5+ over speed limit with max speed never more than 75, through the mountains, some off interstate rural driving to avoid heavy traffic areas and gas shortages, we averaged 8.5 MPG on the 7.3L hauling a 7500 pound Airstream and a pretty full truck (2 spare propane tanks, generator, camp chairs, two coolers, groceries, and 2 adults). I am very pleased with how this rig pulls and handles the weight. No white knuckling at all and we hit some pretty bumpy roads.

I got the High capacity towing package. It pulls like a dream, compared to my 36 ft bumper pull I traded. I also switched the pin box out to a Reese Goose Box. I didn't want that big 5th wheel hitch in my bed.
