Tremor Running Boards

For those with electronic steps, do the faulty “open door” thing makes them go down everytime?
 
Being an older than dirt former GRUNT, and CH-47 driver with bad knees ordered Ford power running boards, which have knock on wood been trouble free thru Idaho winters.
Researching the AMP they're probably a better alternative, developed by Horst Leitner for ease of entry (or so the story goes), think the AMP running boards deploy about an inch lower and can be set up to retract/deploy with remote lock/unlock
 
I just did this to our 2026. The stock Tremor height was too much even for me at 6.2, for my 5.4 wife it was not workable. Bought the long versions from Ford at crazy big price: ~$950. Had them in 2 days I spent a bit of time trying to find take-offs but no luck.

p/n is LC3Z-16A506-AA. You need 4.
