This guy ... Tremor Bashing

I don't know... He's got valid points.

I'm not going to discount what he said because I don't like his shirt, or his sunglasses, or his criticisms. I shared several of his concerns when I ordered my Lariat Tremor. In the end despite any misgivings I may have had, any concern over the impracticality of the vehicle given the various use cases I could envision; there was only one consideration that really mattered.

I wanted one.

Sorry to cut across the grain here, but for several years now I've been told the content of my speech is invalid, lesser, even offensive because my degrees are not en vogue or that the sourcing for my awareness is not approved by a partisan orthodoxy. That my 'toxic' [read bald head, fifty two inch chest, beard] appearance means I'm not to be taken seriously in our new, sensitive world - despite my formal education, my post-graduate work, or the character of my career experience. I find that despite it all, I have been effectively presorted and relegated to irrelevance whenever I engage in a conversation with someone whose opinions and 'knowledge' are exclusively informed by broadcast, new, and social media information sources - which has become the clear majority of those in the United States.

So in the end, I'm simply transposing my own frustrations over the state of interpersonal discourse onto an enthusiast forum's reaction to some nobody youtuber. On the whole, this forum is a great resource because it's membership is active and informed about the topics they discuss. I'm glad you guys are around.
Ditto to all of the above except I slept through formal education and post graduate degree amounted to school of hard knocks and a few successes. Fortunately, the successes outweighed my failures by a few million and now I am planning to spend my remaining years with Tremor and Mountain property post fire.

If you do not like the Tremor.....well it is America, that is your right!

Also this is my opinion on the subject: g.f.y.

My own accomplishments are not so grand but I worked hard for what I have.

I was an enlisted man, I worked blue collar jobs and put myself through school. While at school I found a home at a research laboratory and lived some of the best years of my life there. Afterward I moved into progressively more senior white collar roles but was never comfortable with the ever-increasing docility that seemed to have become a universal expectation, so I eventually chose to leave salaried work and provide for my family directly.

I earn less, I work more, but I answer to no one but my god and my wife and the product of my labors is my own.

It was a good trade.

What do you do for work that enables you to answer to no one? I presume the work you do is for someone or something other than yourself.

I day trade. I farm drop ship companies. I move alt-currencies. I work in the digital space.

I work for myself in a non-service-oriented capacity.

Man, the way crypto has been moving lately if you’re working harder and earning less, you gotta up that digital game homie.

Holdings are not earnings. You take profits where appropriate, but the fact is, I was comfortably employed.

Besides, it's hardly all earnings - the COVID panic hit hard last year and supply chains are still struggling... The costs are real.

Ran across this a few weeks ago and couldn't stand more than the first 3-4 minutes. He's got issues, and you can tell by reading the comments below the video. Most of the comments were extremely negative and took him to task, and he got angry and snarky with his responses to their comments. But hurt millennial.

This guy is an idiot, thinks adaptive steering is rear steer among other things. I can see why he doesn’t allow comments.

He is a 20" wheel with street tires guy. He doesn't seem to know that the 10 speed came out in 2020. Over 4000 lb load per tire that he whines about.

"I wanted one" is really no reason to get one and then proceed to trash it during a review because it didn't meet someone's delusional expectations ... obviously the Super Dutys are designed for certain purposes and if someone doesn't need it for those purposes, it will generally be useless. I would never consider my Tremor to be a luxury SUV to provide a smooth ride, or a fun to drive vehicle for a vacation, for example. It rides exactly as a HD truck should ride, it handles the way a big truck should... it's badass if you have it for its purpose. If your looking for a nice street ride truck, just get a damn F150 (or other brand) and modify the hell out of it or start with the Raptor package and have fun. The frame and function of a Super Duty is a serious work truck and that did not change too much with the Tremor package, it just added a little bit more fun and stylish look.
The reviewer seems like the type of person that goes out and buys Wagyu beef, cooks it well-done, then complains that it is tough and tasteless.

The reviewer didn't say that... I did.

'I wanted one' was what, in the end, overcame the misgivings I had about the impracticality of the vehicle.

I feel like that was apparent in my post, but perhaps not.
