Talk me out of buying a diesel ?

My '05 6.0 KR was loud, smelly and perfect. It got great fuel milage and as long a I didn't screw with it, like trying tunes and crap, never broke down. (I think it was head seals? IIRC?). The thing ran like a freight train. I miss her.
The last of the loud diesels.
A long time diesel owner here and now a 7.3 gas owner, don’t get caught up with the Tim Allen chant Arr Arr(?) the 7. 3 will pull anything the 6.7 will. Look up the HP and Torque ratings of the 1950-
90’s mechanical diesels . They worked and pulled heavy .While you looking up tow rigs you will also see rodeo cowboys pulling horse trailers with Cadillacs and custom 1/2 ton vans in the 60’s and 70’s.

get better tires and a carli set up. i stand by what i said

Noted. Just put Toyo AT3’s on which are milder than most. Carli it be, then!

Out of curiosity does anyone run a higher end damper on stock springs? I don’t necessarily want to go higher.

My rear springs are stock with Carli shackles, makes a big difference.

I think there’s a handful of dudes running leveling height shocks between Fox and Carli on here.

Guess it's time to dive down the rabbit hole of Bilstein 5100 vs 5160 vs Fox vs Carli. Thanks a lot. LOL.
