She has arrived

I've been a white truck guy forever, but this color is the first time I've been tempted.. it looks fantastic
Yup, as a matter of fact, if I bought a 27 instead of my Avalanche 26, this would have been my color choice, fow sure!

Congrats BarryGedman, awesome truck!

Congrats. I love the color and I likely would have chosen it if I could have gotten it in the platinum trim, but for some reason they dont offer it. I did not want the sunroof and chrome that comes with the Platinum Plus.

Every time I hear Godzilla referenced here I think of the real Godzilla. Still on my bucket list to acquire one. Did 10 laps on a track in Vegas in one this summer. Such a fun car to drive.

I would kill to drive a Japanese version of the Skyline

sometimes because we were mentally challenged and had a rough day we were allowed to park ing the "Handicapped" parking spaces🤣
Hey man, as a guy who survived a hard landing in both a UH-1 and a V-22, the former being into the drink off the back of an LHA and walked away from both due to some ace rotor wing pilot work, my hat is eternally off to those guys.

Side story. My Pilot that flew dope interdiction for me during the DEA days, learned to fly his first helicopter by reading the manual a few days before he drove to Oregon and bought the thing used. He flew the fucker home having never been behind the stick and pedals before. Madmen, every one of you.

what's your plans for the chrome delete?
I already bought bare metal bumpers and color matched them. I’ll do the emblems this weekend and put it all back together. I have an extensive background in coatings and paint of various types, mostly firearms and automotive stuff. I refuse to pay Ford 4k bucks for a blackout package that I can do myself in a couple days for 1/3rd the price. Particularly now that Gord is putting the blue ovals on even the blackout upgrade. WTF am I paying for at that point? 4 grand for a couple painted bumpers. Nah, negative, nope.

We're talking trucks and you're talking about guys—adds a whole new meaning to 'Gedman.' Those two divorces make sense now. Size must've mattered to those poor women. We accept you though, buddy! Consider this Barried. 🤪
If that’s what you need to tell yourself to sleep better at night next to your tiny motor, I’ll be your foil mate.

PS, Gedman ain’t my name. It’s a play on the name of the faggot I used to work for.

I’m doing all of it. I bought primed metal bumpers and primed parking sensors from a aftermarket dealership source. Apparently the sensors can’t be stripped and repainted. That was $1200 and change for all of it. $180 for paint. I’m doing the emblems in Cerakote. Price is free for me because it’s leftover coating from other projects that someone else paid for. Base coat and clear coat are all stuff I already have laying around from other projects. So I’m into it about $1500 and change. The most expensive part of painting is having the proper equipment, which I have and obviously I won’t be paying for labor.

Same, I am a white truck guy too (not racist) but the baby poo brown sucked me in.

Come to the brown side...

Bro, me too. All my cars were white prior to this. I was about to buy a white Bronco when I saw this color and went with it instead. Now I guess I’m a brown truck guy. Baby poo is a good description for it in the afternoon sun. I just love how it changes color throughout the day.

I was one of the lucky Marines who was there for both testing and initial deployment. It’s a wonder I’m still here.

I bet you could make a lot of coin doing paint matched shit on this forum alone if you wanted to
