Roof marker lights

I agree that if you are only towing travel trailers, they should have the required lighting, but if you tow a heavy equipment trailer, they do not.

It could be threading a needle depending on if the cop had his fill of doughnuts the day you get pulled over or not. The CFR has separate requirement for "Motor Vehicle" markings and "Trailer" markings. The roof clearance lights seem to be associated only with the "Motor Vehicle" and not the "Trailer", so it could be interpreted any way the officer wants, I guess. I am just finding out about this requirement and have not researched it much other than a quick review of the CFR (in the past hour). My daily job depends on interpretation of other CFRs and we always try to skirt around them, just barely. I did order my Tremor with the lights and I am mainly towing equipment trailers (which don't have clearance lights obviously), so I am covered no matter what.
