Figured I’d ask before I place my order this week, anyone regret getting, or not getting any of the options on your Tremor?

Also is there anything that you were on the fence about, that you ended up getting, and now wonder how you lived so long without it?
Thanks!

Great question! I originally didn’t want the massive sunroof, but during cooler months and summer mornings love using it and the rear slider for free AC. Glad I opted for the adjustable pedals and steering wheel too. Don’t tow a bunch, but am also glad I have the ultimate trailer tow camera system as I use it all the time while parking and maneuvering in tight spots like drive-thrus and such. I really like the value of the Lariat Ultimate package…although that’s relative b/c nothings cheap. Didn’t opt for the adaptive steering, but wonder if that would have been a smart choice…

That’s one I don’t plan on getting either. I’m a “spirited” driver and the last thing I want sliding around a turn is for my steering to be a variable.

I found my 21 Tremor on a lot close by, after buying it I realized my window sticker
was green. Someone had ordered it and backed out. I love all the options just wish
the person would have added the rain sensing wipers so I could have gotten the
heated steering wheel and cab clearance lights, both really cheap adds.

Seriously regret not having carpet delete.

Somewhat regret not having the LEDs as I can imagine wishing for them in the winter, and the aftermarket cost is ridiculous.

Somewhat regret getting the 7.3, entirely because it sucks down a tank of gas so quickly. That said, I have more peace of mind with the gasser than a modern diesel. Still on the fence about this one.

Regret not adding Lariat ultimate package, but I think I'll be ok with the value package. The more I think about it, the less I want LED headlights and fogs because I'd rather replace bulbs than assemblies but the push button start would have been nice to have.

Ultimate Trailer Tow Camera System with Pro Trailer Backup Assist

The 360 Degree Camera System cameras are nice and I had used them on other vehicles but opted to skip them. Now I find times I wish I had them.

The LED headlights might have been a nice addition to but the halogens work fine for me. I was going to swap them out based on how good others spoke about the upgrades but I don't see a reason to spend the money after a few thousand miles.

Does ultimate include LED’s ? I thought that was a separate add?

I kinda struggle with the cost of “Lariat ultimate” just to basically get auto release tailgate and push button start… but, I really do like having the fob in my pocket.

I just ordered my 7.3 a couple days ago, so I have time to make changes. It'll be a 22, so I don't know if some of the options people are mentioning are part of packages or not. I chose the ultimate package, because the Lariat F-150 I traded had similar features, and the F-250 non-Tremor I bought about a month ago only has the value package. I got the LED headlights, the 5th wheel prep, roof lights, upfitter switches, hood deflector, and CHMSL camera. Pretty basic to keep the cargo capacity higher, around 4000# because I may carry a light weight truck camper. I had the trailer back up package on other trucks and hated it. I know how to back up a trailer, and think it was worthless. Never had LED's before, and many people seem to like them.

Anything I'm missing I should be getting? Options I don't know about?

The only thing I'm really still torn about is the color, because I chose all white, and not with the white bumpers.
Hard to do build and price on a 22 when the Ford website only shows the 21 options, Heated steering wheel, massage seats? Never had them, are they part of a package?

No, the ultimate does not include LED heads/tails. That’s a separate package. I have the Ultimate and do not regret it.

After having my truck for about 13k miles now, here’s my two cents:
I would delete carpet.
I would give up the sunroof (as I am considering a platform/rack on the roof). I’m 50/50 on this tho.
I would have cab marker lights.
The heated steering wheel and massaging seats are nice (had them on last truck) but I am doing just fine without them.
I would add the mythical winch too.
I prefer the LED headlights.
Other than other knick knacks that might be more minor, those are my thoughts.
Oh yeah, not sure the adaptive steering is “helpful” but my truck has it. I do, however, enjoy the adaptive cruise control.

Regret not getting adaptive cruise and the dual alternator for the winch

I think someone needs to order a new 6.7. I feel ya on the ⛽️. Coming from a tundra there was no way I was going though that again! ?
