Range on diesel

This is the most compelling argument I’ve heard for the diesel. Godzilla’s range is embarrassing. The daily stop at the gas station gets old.
Yep - this is the main reason I switched to the 6.7 after getting my lemon repurchased. I just didn't realize how bad it was going to be when I bought the 7.3 - Driving to hunt camp in the 7.3, I would have to get gas up there and then get gas when I make it back home. Drove to hunt camp this past weekend, and made it home on the same tank of diesel. Game changer for me. Going to be even better when I throw in the Titan tank some day.

I have to agree with you guys, I didn’t think the range would be a big deal for me, but after towing I will admit it would be nice to have now. Love everything else about the truck so maybe a replacement tank will become available soon.

I have the 55 gallon Titan Tank.

The vehicle "computer" is showing about .5 MPG more than I actually get. I am waiting to get another tank or two of manually calculated MPG -vs- the computer MPG before going in and correcting the computer in the truck so it will show the proper MPG.

If anyone is in the market for the Titan 55 gallon tank for their 6.7L, we have them in stock. And they only hang down 1.75" over stock. great upgrade and folks are seeing up to 1000 miles on a tank of fuel.

I just topped off the tank when I got home from a trip to my camp. I ran highway and stuck to the flat river valleys and it mad a huge improvement over my normal driving with constant elevation and speed change 580 to 600 ish miles to empty on the lie o meter. I’ve found that 55-60 and flat ground is the absolute perfect situation for the best MPG on the diesel tremor. Change any of those factors and mileage will decrease.
