Folks, my apologies for a dumb question, but could someone help with this indicator? Thank you!

That's the DEF light telling you the truck is low on DEF or something is wrong with the system. Based on your mileage for a 2024 it's probably just low and needs to be filled soon. 2023+ use much more def than 20-22 did.

Owners manual page 136. Bottom left corner.

Engine brake icon looks similar but has a circle around it with a couple little curved lines on each side.

I deleted my post since you are correct. That’s what happens when I don’t have my glasses on!
Man I can certainly empathize with you! At first, without my glasses, I would have sworn and bet money that was the auto engine brake illuminator. Once I put my glasses on I could clearly see that it was not.

The other folks identified the light and almost certainly the issue, but I'd like to add that you can see a much more precise measurement of how much DEF is left by enabling the "Diesel Gauges" screen under "My View". I find it to be one of the more useful ones.

Based on your milage, I'd expect you are almost out and very close to going into "limp mode" if you don't add more DEF soon.

I have that gauge activated as well. This is the reason I've not seen that light; I always refill if close to 1/2 full.

If I could ask only one question from a ford engineer, it would be why they think a picture of a flying sea turtle getting rained on is more informative than a light that, I don’t know, said DEF or something.

at first glance, I thought it was a "Cruise Ship" ; indicating when it is time to go on vacation..

Definitely cruise ship... on fire and being attacked by a giant Kraken
