Is anyone else noticing their hood vibrating or waving at hwy speeds? 55+. Looks like the hood is so thin, that wind entering the engine bay causes it to move some. Never noticed this on any other vehicle before

Noticed my driver's door is not aligned and has a gap at the top. I also had interior trim not installed correctly. Who knows what else is wrong, but these are the only things I've noticed.
Lots of door alignment issues. Crazy. All 4 of mine are off a little…

Well folks, looks like I have a water leak. Drivers side carpet is soaked........More info to follow
Moon roof? behind the pillar is a drain tube. I witnessed is disconnected. A water leak specialist said they forget to connect it at the factory all the time.

That was going to be my first look. I've seen the tube totally missing on one from the factory also

I know KTP went from being 100 degrees 2 weeks ago to now being 45 degrees. The lines are not heated or cooled. So ambient outside remp is amplified in both summer and winter due to all the metal walls, roof, etc. You'd think they would try to temp control the damn factories to help employees to concentrate on their job, instead of being hot or cold. And they still have to wear those damn masks. They also are having to rush at most stations so no wonder doors are misaligned and parts are not installed correctly

I know some just don't care, but most I do believe are doing their best. But the QC people in the finish department really need additional training or retraining. I've mentioned this to my sister many times.

That's where it all is they can fix it before it goes out.

I've spent years of my life working in a boiler room and ambient conditions are not a good excuse for subpar work. If I'm going to pay 80K + for a new truck i expect better than a bunch sloppy mistakes. Just my 2 ¢.

I don't disagree. I'm just pointing out what the environment in the factory is like. It is just another distraction when the weather is at extremes. Just like wearing a mask. The more distractions one has, the greater the likelihood of mistakes. Pretty sure my sister makes a few when she installs the block heater cord and tightens down several bolts in the engine bay. One cannot ignore the fact that since COVID restrictions started, quality has degraded not just with Ford vehicles. It is taking a toll on all industries imho. I'm not trying to make excuses, as I am not happy about my doors and tell my sis every day....lol.

Score another point for carpet delete…

@ccw
I LOVE my vinyl flooring. And the rubber floor mats that came with my King Ranch are some heafty boys. They don't come all the way out to the edges like the molded ones do, but I have vinyl, so they don't have to. The King Ranch in the rear is sweet as well. I haven't even taken the packaging off my carpeted mats and probably won't unless I clean it up real nice to take a lady out on the town....lol. I'll call the carpeted mates my "Going to Town" mats....lol. sound dampening is amazing as well with the vinyl.

Need a forum spreadsheet/checklist for everyone to use when they pick up their trucks, so they can inspect what everyone is finding.
I might have to change to Capet delete, my F450 came that way, didn’t even think about it on the Tremor. 🤔

Here’s the list I used. As noted in the post, it’s based off a list that Iron Man started:
