Poll - Tremor owners, where do you live?

Iron Man, Tennessee is a wonderful state to live anywhere East of Nashville. West of Nashville not so much and Memphis is the butthole of the entire state. I've never hated living somewhere or even visited more than I do Memphis. Only two more years to go! I will be driving the moving van to my wife's graduation lol. Go Predators!!

I’m trying to see where I want to live next. My parents live in the Tampa Bay Area of Florida. They want us to buy a home near them. It’s beautiful on the Gulf Side but so many people and I feel like you’re trapped trying to get out of Florida driving North with the roads being jam packed if there ever was a serious emergency.
Then my friend is building a development in S Carolina. But my wife’s not into Florida or S Carolina. Then there’s TEXAS. I’m a NYer with a bit of an accent. I never been to TEXAS but it sure seems to be open and no state income tax and a good state that isn’t Liberal with their laws. Then there’s Tennessee. Never been there either but I’ve heard it is so Beautiful.
So those are my 4 states I’d be interested in moving to. Trying to have the wife get on board is harder than finding the right state to live in. She’s as stubborn as a mule these days. Her dad is still alive but he’s not doing well. We must be on LI to help look after him, but my wife doesn’t even want to entertain the idea of getting another home at this point. Especially a home we would transition into as a living destination.
Having a Happy Wife leads to living a Happy Life. Lots of compromises in a good marriage.

I lived in Florida many years, in tampa bay. Been in MN the past 10 years. Kid is in school, will not think about moving until I get them done with school. Even then, we'll keep our home in MN.

But eastern TN, I LOVE...may have to get a summer cabin there and a few acres of land! But I heard it's crazy trying to buy real estate there now!

Roadtrip: Driving from Sonoma County in norcal to Northern Utah then to Tampa Id then up to Coeurdalene area then home starting tomorrow. Should be a fun trip....
