Attached is a photo of the Driver Door (front leading edge closest to the hinge) and Passenger Door of the drain holes. Notice the welds........Not happy with the craftsmanship.

What is the issue your concerned with? Hard to tell.

I've noticed a couple spots where the crimping and/or welding isn't all that consistent. Also noticed a couple spots along the crimped/welded areas where it looks like paint has already flaked off.

I checked my doors and they looked fine. For whatever reason it looks like a small touch up was done on one of your doors perhaps? I'd try not to let it bother you!

Issues are: Future clogging of the smaller hole on the pass. door. As other threads of reported, water begins to drain when the doors are opened (design flaw?). Then, the fact that this passed QC to begin with. I took welding in metal shop as a teenager and our instructor would have scolded us for shotty work. One would think as technically advanced we are the "crimping/welding" would not be an issue. I love the truck, waited 6 mos. for it.

Thanks, trying not too. My salesman agrees it looks like a bad weld.

Their suppliers robotics must possess some imperfect human characteristics!! Can’t imagine any plc logic platform would create/allow such an inconsistent product.

My company employs an enormous amount AI and robotics in the manufacturing process and this level of variation does not exist in our production.
