Like others have said, depends on the crime rate in your area. I've never had a garage to park in and never had a problem. I would say look up crime stats for your area and use that to develop a plan.

I have an accountant buddy that lives in Anaheim and works in Newport Beach. He drives a Prius. (Picture the type of guy in your head.)In Southern California the biggest issue is having your catalytic converter snagged. Seems like the Tundras and Superduty are targeted for some reason. My wife had hers stolen from her Sequoia at her work. Cordless saws all and about 30 seconds is all it takes. I am considering getting Cat cages but I don’t know how effective they are.
I park outside. won't fit in my garage. I've had no problems but I don't really live in an area where people steal cars.Quick question for you tremor owners.. My current 2014 F150 fits in my garage with 3 inches to spare length wise so there is no way the Tremor I just ordered is going to fit in my garage. After looking through this forum and seeing if anybody is parking their Tremors in their driveway it seems almost all of you park in the garage (lucky you). The one person I found that parks outside almost had his truck stolen twice now! So my question is if there are others on here that park outside that have not had any issues with their truck being messed with? I do plan on installing a Ravelco, I have motion lights and hard wired cameras for the driveway. I am just nervous about parking such a nice rig outside since my F150 has always been garaged.
this was my primary reason for ceramic coating. SoCal sun all day and my driveway takes full hit from the sun from mid morning til sunset. supposedly ceramic coating helps with UV. Really no way to know if it's BS marketing claims or real. Time will tell.I recently found out (via city code) that I can't install a carport like I originally planned for the driveway. I'm seriously considering the ceramic coating to help with the outside elements in light of this news. Anyone else do this and notice a difference with the coating? I'm mainly concerned with the toll the sun will take over time. Thoughts? TIA

Mine stays outside. I have a pretty good camera system that I turn on at night or when I'm away. It immediately contacts me through my phone if any movement occurs. I also have a tracking bug on my truck. Even if they disconnect the batteries it still works. If all that fails I have good insurance on it.Quick question for you tremor owners.. I have to park mine outside I’m between houses at the moment and living with family for the time being worst thing I don’t like is it’s black and I park in dirt so it’s always dirty and the SoCal desert sun I’m sure will do it’s damage I’m thinking of wrapping the roof to try to protect it a bit. But I am behind a fence so no messing with the truck yet.Quick question for you tremor owners..
