Quick question for you tremor owners.. My current 2014 F150 fits in my garage with 3 inches to spare length wise so there is no way the Tremor I just ordered is going to fit in my garage. After looking through this forum and seeing if anybody is parking their Tremors in their driveway it seems almost all of you park in the garage (lucky you). The one person I found that parks outside almost had his truck stolen twice now! So my question is if there are others on here that park outside that have not had any issues with their truck being messed with? I do plan on installing a Ravelco, I have motion lights and hard wired cameras for the driveway. I am just nervous about parking such a nice rig outside since my F150 has always been garaged.

My trucks have always been parked outside and I’ve never personally had an issue. At our current house that we’ve been at for the last 5 years we are out in the country so it seems a little less likely to have problems. I mean, I lock my truck and take the keys inside ... I can’t say the same for all my neighbors and none of us have had issues.

Where you live is going to be a big factor.

I am lucky my Tremor fits by a fraction of an inch in my heated shop.

I just replaced my work truck with a new F350 chassis with the 7.3 and its just a tick larger than my old work truck and has to sit outside. I am more concerned with the outside ( sunlight, and harsh weather, rain, possible hail.............).

My garage isn’t big enough for the truck so I park outside. I live in one of those nicer neighborhoods but with smaller houses (1600-2000 sq ft). I haven’t had any problems. I do back in so the giant platinum appliqué on the tailgate isn’t showing.

I park outside and Ford pickups are the most stolen vehicle in the state. I've had my F-150 entered once (because I didn't lock it) and have seen neighborhood video of guys walking around at 3 am testing door handles but haven't had any damage (interior or exterior) and never had the truck stolen. From a couple of cops on the street, I've heard that work/service vehicles are more likely to be stolen and residential theft is guys just looking for "stuff".

Sounds like you are in a similar situation as I. The neighborhood is fairly nice but they are cookie cuter homes in that 1600-2000 sq ft range. I do have my trailer in the driveway so that will help block the view of the truck from one side.

I park outside every day. I haven't had any issues, I think that one guy whos truck almost got stolen twice lives in Florida. I think Florida is the problem...

I use the garage for projects and haven't finished rearranging it for the truck yet.

All my trucks had been in the driveway outside. Never an issue. You are never going to stop some young punk from jiggling handles to see if you left it open. But their goal is to steal money and electronics out of the truck not your whole truck

Mine lives in the driveway. So far the worst we have had is people (kids) walking down the street in the early hours looking for unlocked cars, and people with work bodies on their trucks have been hit again and again but if they dont see anything worth stealing they pretty much seem to leave things alone.

My bigger concern is sun damage over time. The sun eats everything alive.

The Big thing now is stolen Cats (convertors). they are driving around looking for easy targets to get them to sell . Prices are high now.

My Tremor, when it gets here, and my wife's Q5 are both in the driveway...they won't fit in in my garage with the '75 Bronco and '90 YJ in it.
Many many years ago when we had two new cars in the driveway and a '67 Scout 800 and an '72 Scout II in the garage my Dad stopped by and noted that I had $75K worth of vehicles in the driveway and $750 worth of vehicles in the garage. He asked me if I had my priorities straight.

I simply answered, "yes".

We went in the garage and played with the Scouts.

I park mine outside. I'm always worried about break-ins. Not just from crack heads, but from sophisticated car thieves. The Ford F-series is the most stolen vehicle in Texas, and my truck happens to be the cartel's wet dream. All I can really do is beef up security on the truck to make sure it won't disappear on me and make sure I don't leave anything pawnable in the truck. I'm also going to rig it so the horn always goes off even if the thief snips the horn wire.

In the middle of putting yote and 6sp in the Bronco...I think after this mod it may actually be worth more than my new Tremor...lol
