New Tremor Owner!

Welcome to the forum

Thank most of you for the warm welcome, except the rude ones who are anti-gas engine. Trying something new and cheaper to run and I don't have to justify my country a$$ credibility to anybody. Goin to have a great time outfitting this new truck for my off-grid cabin and hopefully my grandson won't beg me for it when he gets his license in a few years. He drives our old trucks in the pasture already like a good country boy but this baby is MINE! I kind of want a camper shell for transporting supplies but that limits the ease of loading and unloading firewood. We used to deliver firewood on an 18 foot trailer to city folks but that is a pain the rear to negotiate up to the cabin on fire roads. I don't want to cut my own trees, they are too pretty!

Welcome. If I were a diesel snob, I would give you credit for still owning one. As a RURAL dweller with no diesel mechanic inside 30minutes, I bought gas too. I also only tow 6000lb travel trailer and wanted the additional payload this gasser offered over the diesels available at the time.

I take issue with the fact that you posted a photo of you pretty 2026 and ignored your 2016 though!

Don't let the diesel heads bother ya. Mostly just crusty old Veterans giving ya "the business." Most people will utlimately admit these things are TOOLS for JOBS and you pic the one that makes sense for you. I own businesses and have plenty of hobbies- becoming a diesel mechanic is NOT on my list of "want-to." If someone gets their panties in a wad because people buy what they want, Eff em. :)
