I also went from a 3.5 F150 (Non Raptor) to a 7.3 gas F250 and the fuel hit was not as bad as I was expecting either. New truck gets 13 all the time if you aren't towing and 9-10 when towing while the 3.5 F150 would get 14-15 unloaded and 8-9 when towing. I don't miss the small useless 5.5' bed at all either.
