The avatar with my screen name was taken on the beach between Crescent City and Smith River. There's a place where you can drive on the beach near there. My nephew used to live up there when he worked at the prison.

I grew up a couple hours south of there. I miss the big trees and raising hell on the family ranch.

There’s at least a couple of places with a tree you can drive through. But a TREMOR would be an awfully tight fit, IF it could make it.

Technically my current view since I too am looking at these pics from last weekend.
Wandering from Thompson Falls, MT to Wallace, ID then back into MT to St. Regis over back highways and forest service roads. A Subaru-safe soft roading jaunt to see fall colors and hopefully attract new members to a local 4x4 club or two. It was a very comfortable trek in my F-150 Tremor. A few people I know to have very capable off road rigs chose to bring their Family Trucksters instead in the interest of comfort. I now firmly believe the term Posh Roading needs to be a thing.
Anyway it was pretty and relaxing.
