Lubricant shortage

We could take back control if we banded together. We all need to buy Gas/Diesel but we don't need to get it from say, BP. If everyone agreed to stop buying gas from BP no matter the cost they would fold, then we could ask the others, "Who's next"? Same with fast food or any other product. It just takes 1 or 2 going under to make the others rethink their ways.

This would have zero impact. BP (or whomever) does not own the fuel stations. They simply sell products there. The stations themselves have a small markup to try to attract retail clients to their stores. The refiners are buying a global commodity and selling a global commodity. Jet fuel (which is basically kerosene, which is basically non emmissions diesel) is under severe shortages due to to no imports from the middle east and Russia being shut down. Gasoline is still ok because refinery’s make it for less than diesel and supply of lighter crude is better.

The consumer (outside of California) has no power. California could change policy to import American fuel and restore local production and refining but obviously highly unlikely. Unless fuel starts coming from the Middle East, China and Russia, you aren’t going to see lower prices

At first I thought dang I’ve contributed to the lube shortage with 37lbs being delivered

Turns out it’s my AGM battery for my Polaris UTV but at first I was like who the hell ordered that much lube
