Lower stock running boards??

I never followed up on this thread, but I finished the install of my GoRhino drop step on the passenger side for my wife and documented the process (tools, parts, where to drill, etc.) starting at post #73 of my build thread:

After seeing how the factory boards look in the lower position, I prefer the drop step on one side. As others have commented, the symmetry of only having it on one side is a little odd, but I seldom get in on the passenger side so I never have to see it for myself. Haha!

My wife is 5’-0” and she loves it, so it was well worth it.

Nice write-up on the install and great looking truck!!!

I think I could deal with just the added step on one side vs. the entire running board lowered. It looks more purposeful in my opinion.

I think you may be right, any idea of a part # for the filler?

I may have looked that up at one point but will have to check. There are some aftermarket versions as well available in chrome or black:

I got the stock Super Duty brackets from nominion and here they are installed with the Tremor Running Boards. They are 3" lower than stock. I like the look of them up higher better but they are much better for a short guy like me lower. Your thoughts?View attachment 37631View attachment 37629

Yes I got non tremor brackets and they bolted right on, the complete change took less then 30 minutes. If you buy the brackets new they are expensive, but you can find them on ebay https://www.ebay.com/itm/234207324809?epid=20041551190&hash=item3687d82a89:g:e9UAAOSwwu1hUmgf and they're a little better. I have gotten used to the look and really like the height for entry and exit.

The brackets I had came off my non-Tremor F350. I replaced the factory brackets with one from a Tremor as I wanted them mounted higher.

Bought them off EBay think they were $47 each. They are take offs looked like new think that included shipping.
