Lariat Ultimate vs Platinum Tremor

Hey y’all, hoping to get some help with some analysis paralysis here.

Looking at either a Lariat Ultimate or Platinum Tremor, both carbonized grey and both 7.3 2027

Trying to decide mostly based on aesthetics I guess

On the exterior, only differences I can tell are the grills and the back tailgates.

On the interior, the platinum has the leather seats, embossed with the “Platinum” logo, and the fake “knurled” plastic trip around the dash

I didn’t have the time to get a good look at either of these trucks, as I was short on time, and the way they’re parked at the dealership had terrible lighting (sun in my eyes) and at a steep angle.

Personally, I didn’t really care for the tailgate on the plat, but like the grill more than the lariat

I personally thought the seats were less comfortable than the lariat, as I could feel the stitching they did for the logo and on the actual seat.

Lariat and Platinum are approx $2k apart, Lariat is brand new, Plat is “new” but a dealer demo with 4,800 miles. Plat is also a F350 while the lariat is F250

Appreciate any help here I can get

I have a 26 Lariat Ultimate F250 and love it but resell on that Plat will be a lot better I believe. Something to consider.

Get the Platinum since the seats will be more comfortable after hours of driving. I chose the Lariat but wish I had the more comfortable seats after long hours of driving.

My GF wanted the massaging seats, so it was either KR or Platinum (I was thinking Lariat.) Didn't care for the KR interior. I do like the accents in interior and the HUD display, so I am sold now!

The Lariat Ultimate has HUD. Personally, I only use it when towing. Kinda bothers me a bit when daily driving!

Get the Platinum since the seats will be more comfortable after hours of driving. I chose the Lariat but wish I had the more comfortable seats after long hours of driving.

I do drive long hours, first impressions of the seats however is I certainly notice the stitching. When I sat in the Plat my thin polo shirt actually would get hung up in the stitching/emblem... I did not get to test drive either. Coming from a 2022 Lariat Tremor

The Lariat Ultimate has HUD. Personally, I only use it when towing. Kinda bothers me a bit when daily driving!

The main non-cosmetic differences are massaging seats, better head/tail lights, and mandatory ProPower. If you don’t specifically want those things, it is a waste of money. I liked the seats with the massager running but found them really uncomfortable when the massager was off. I liked the projector lights but felt the Lariat lights are “good enough”. I wanted ProPower and got it as an option on my Lariat. So yeah, pros and cons

PS - I did not personally test the better head part but that’s what I heard from @Optimus🤖

When I ordered my 26 I said I didn’t want it. It wasn’t a problem. Maybe they did. The Limited, or Plus, or whatever had it. That and the glass roof were the two reasons I didn’t get one off the lot.
