I also feel some of it might be the trans not knowing to upshift or downshift. Also, when I'm coming up to a red light it will down shift so hard at times its like the truck lunges. I'm really having a hard time liking that 10 speed!

Yes, I'm running the 87 daily tow. I downloaded the tune and unplugged my N-gauge. The peddle monster does not run through the ECU, but it does get its power from the OBD2 port.

This is awesome news as I just ordered the NGauge and the 93 Performance tune was one of the five I selected. I’m also installing a new cold air intake, headers, mid pipe and cat back system, all from AFE, and was a bit on-the-fence with which way to go on the tuner. I was waffling back and forth between 5Star and AFE tunes, but based on my research, I went with 5Star.

Unless you like to run 93 in your diesel, then I'm guessing the 7.3!

Well update is due... I can say that 5 star tunes did make my issue worse. I recently got my truck in to have them go through the latest service for the 10sp some kind of valve flush. got the truck back drive it for awhile in stock. it skips 2nd and even 4th at times. Even while starting out on a hill [ 2nd tune from 5 star would total miss the shift, truck would stop like in neutral and BAM back in 1st!} 5 Star has sent me a 3rd set of tunes. i am hesitant to try them. I am currently running the 1st set, as they got the best fuel mileage 14.4 highway @ 75+

I cant stand this transmission, it is damn scary to drive in rush hour. Guy behind me that I pulled out in front of and basically came to a stop got hit! I basically drive in manual during rush hour!
I now have 54800 miles on the truck.
