You pretty much nailed my thoughts on the light bar. I’d hate to block the camera with a bracket mount and you’d better be totally committed to that light setup if you’re going to start hacking into that platty grille. Basically it boils down to if you’re planning on keeping that light bar, flush mount that thing. If you’re not...maybe consider other options before taking the dive. Good luck! So far it’s looking great! ?????

Im leaning towards having my friend cut the grill to squeeze it in perfectly. He does some really great work on race cars and show cars. I have money if I needed to buy another grill. I wouldn’t want to waste money. I think a grill is about 1,500$. That’s a lot of money to use for another mod but my truck is going to be expensive anyway. IDK. I’d like more opinions. I also would hesitate cutting the grill, and opt to fab up some brackets. From what others have posted if you keep it close the front camera blockage is minimal. Looking good so far.

I just got back from the dealer. My truck was on the lift. I told the mechanic I want my back lights to go to one of the switches. He said one of the big wig bosses was around before. He said it’s illegal but he’ll run a wire gor me to the switches. We looked at my grill and I’m not sure if I want to butcher it up now. The bottom piece I’d cut off is where it mounts to the body of the truck. The light bar was 1800$ but got it for 1,300$ with Black Friday deals. So I’m going to hook it up with a bracket mist likely and if I don’t like it I’ll remove it. My sequential tailgate light bar has the wrong wiring for the 2 way splice. He said it would mount to the outside of the bumper so he didn’t install it. Plus the puddle light over ride for the lights to work at any speed and not shut off after 10mph DOES NOT WORK FOR 2021. Different connections for newer year.
My salesman is off tomorrow so I’m definitely getting my truck on Wed. Sucks that today was 50 on LI, tomorrow 43 and Wednesday 34. I’m going to pullout my line on my wench and learn how to use wireless remote, go over all my lights, open my hood and look at everything with a fine tooth comb. So it’s going to be a long 2 more days but it is what it is. I get a freakin HARD ON LOOKING AT MY BEAST IN SERVICE. She’s smiling at me with such a sexy look. I get hard like I’m a 16 year old that went into the woman’s locker room by mistake. Not kidding. I only happened to go into the women’s locker by mistake 10 times when I was young. What can I say. I was confused ?‍ with the signs. IDK. So here’s just a few more pics of my sexy beast without the bumper and the winch just slapped in, and new Power Stop Rotors and Pads. ??????????????????????

Oh im looking at the picks and it looks like the bottom of my hood is painted. I remember people saying certain trucks didn't have theirs color matched. I think that looks silver to me, or is that white?

we decided after looking at many 2020 Sports that the Sport optioned ones had a black inside hood. Others without the sport like DavidB have body color.

This guy is nice and just got remarried. My wife thought it was strange that he wouldn’t come in. He did say his manager would do the deal but he’d prefer for me to make it for Wednesday so he can go over everything with him. Who knows what his plans for his day off are.

So I found this video and I am going to give this a try to see if it works ... I know so people have got the harness to do this ..but this maybe a option if your never going to sell the truck ... And care about a warranty issue
