Here come the Mongoose (8.3L Duramax)

Gale Banks' video swallowing it whole pisses me off the most.

Applauding their "new advancements" such as "CGI blocks, steel pistons, and forged internals"

All the while neglecting to mention that the power stroke has had most of these things for decades. (steel pistons only came about in the 2023 PS)

What a fucking schill.

I called Banks and asked their tech why they haven't released the derringer for the 6.7HO

The guy literally said they couldn't tune it better than Ford did, within the parameters of the emissions requirements

If that's not the ultimate compliment to Ford froma respected aftermarket tuner, i don't know what is.

And let's talk about the lack of a 9th injector, the addition of a 2nd def injection system, and the 3.... count them.... THREE!!! emissions catalyst chambers.

Along side the refusal to abandon the lifter based cylinder deactivation, and the "supervalve" plastic thermostat on the new gas engines....

This thing will bring about the end of general motors

Mark my words

The Oldsmobile diesel didn't have TWO DEF SYSTEMS!!!!!!

And at the time, their gasoline engines weren't exploding left and right.
