I have a 2022 7.3L truck and was using ForScan for a couple tweaks a few months ago. I bought the recommended ODB2 cable and it worked great. I just replaced my batteries with AGM (ouch they are pricey, $450 each!) anyway I went to Forscan to update the battery type and needed a new license since my 2 month expired. I uploaded the new license and now the OBD2 cable is not lighting up green and the ForScan system cannot connect. I googled and Fuse 2 as best I can tell is intact (this is small!) and I have restarted Forscan. All I am trying to do at this point is update the battery chemistry to AGM.

Any ideas why I do not have connection? Do I really need to update the battery chemistry to AGM anyway? Push comes to shove I can take it to my dealership but I am a little concerned they wont be able to the connect the OBD2 cable if I am not able to. Any help is appreciated.

First, did the cable light up when you initially plugged it in or was it only lit up once your computer was connected (if you remember)?

If it lit up just from being plugged in...Have you tried the cable on another vehicle?
I cant remember if you have to have the truck in ACC for it to work period or not. Might try that too if you havent.

I will have to wait for my wife to come home with her car to test that. I had the truck in ACC and tried it both plugged in with the engine and ACC off and then with ACC on. I also just checked fuse #22 in the engine bay and it is intact as well

And I confirmed Fuse #12 in the passanger footwell is working since when I pulled it, it stopped blowing air
