DEAL FordTremor.com June 2021 Group Buy - MBRP Exhaust - Ends 6/30

Thank you so much for your support and I'm glad to hear that you're happy with the exhaust!

If we can help with anything else at all, please let us know.

And just a reminder for the group, this group buy will end Wednesday, June 30th at 11:59pm CDT!

Thank you all for the support guys! We've run out of the T304 7.3L exhausts, but only temporarily. More are due in stock 7/7 and we will be shipping out the remainder of orders then, and you'll still get in on the 15% off pricing!

How much room do you guys have between your spare tire heat shield?
Are you referring to a diesel or gas? And with the 4" or 5" exhausts?

7.3 with 4” exhaust and 5” tip. S5247blk

On the gas trucks, it's a 1.5 to 2+ inch gap between the pipe and the heat shield, depending on how you mount it and secure in the hangers. Here's a good video that shows some great shots of the installation and spare tire clearance. Especially around the 2:20 mark.

Mine has about a half inch clearance when cold, but rubs when warm. I have to drop the spare to see if I can move the cover at all. I've loosened the exhaust up 3 times and re tightened it down and can't move it any more, the hangers are pointing it into that close proximity with the spare shield.

Have you started all the way at the muffler exit, loosened the clamps, and then rotated the exhaust so that it's away from the heat shield?

You can also try dropping the spare, adjusting the heat shield, and then adjusting the spare location as you raise the spare tire. I had to do this with the 5" exhaust on my truck.

Same here. That’s why I was asking. It taps sometimes but stops after a little bit. I’ll try to rotate the pipe more. It’s a pain to move after you already tighten it down. Seems like the hanger pushes it back.

Sometimes it's a two-man job. Move the exhaust to where you want it and have one person hold it down while another tightens all the bolts. Hopefully that helps!

Do you have any pictures of your exhaust? I was thinking of getting the 5" just unsure of the look and clearance. Thanks

Hi Nick, do you have any black coated systems (4” preferably) for the 6.7L with dual exit pipes?

I've got the Banks 5" on mine and it's a non-Tremor 2019 6.7, but I'd be happy to send you pics if you're interested.
Here’s a pic as promised. Keep in mind this is a non-Tremor with a smaller spare. No heat shield on my spare tire, the heat shield is part of my DPF-back exhaust from Banks Power. I didn’t get a good pic, but there’s a couple mm of clearance.

Hi Nick, do you have any black coated systems (4” preferably) for the 6.7L with dual exit pipes?

So here's what we can do. If you're wanting to get in on the MBRP savings, we can do the 4" dual exit exhaust. It's available in both an aluminum or T409 stainless version. Then we can just swap the tips. The MBRP exhausts are $414.99 for aluminum and $484.99 for T409 stainless. Then the exhaust tips are either $59.99 for the rolled tip or $69.99 for the dual wall tip. Both tips are 4in inlet with 5" outlet. All of the prices above are before the 15% coupon code. So you're looking at the most expensive option with stainless and dual wall tips being $624.97 before the 15% off discount and you're getting free shipping.

It would be this exhaust here:

Then you'd add either of the two tips below:
Single Wall Rolled

Those are the only 2 black dual exit exhausts that we have. I'll also throw this one from Banks Power into the ring. Not a dual tip, but an "ob-round" tip as Banks calls it. I have the 5" system on my truck, but Banks advises against going with the 5" on the Tremors with the larger spare. Here's a shot of the 4" exhaust installed so you can see the size and shape.

If you like any of these, let me know and we can discuss pricing. MBRP (Aluminum and T409), Magnaflow, and Banks are in stock, aFe Power is currently on backorder.

Good afternoon and Happy Friday! After our warm welcome yesterday, we wanted to get started by offering our first Group Buy!

This month we'll be offering 15% discount on all MBRP exhausts for both the 7.3L and 6.7L owners! Just enter code "MBRP21" at checkout!

First we'll start with the 7.3L guys, we have 3 options for you! All of these kits produce the same sound, the difference is the construction. Choose from Aluminized Steel, T304 SS, or the Black Coated version. The Black Coated version is an Aluminized Steel exhaust and everything from the muffler to the rear of the truck has a high heat black finish. This is a 4" resonator back system that features a 5" angle cut exhaust tip. We also have a number of tip options available if you'd like to swap them out for further customization. And they will also be eligible for the 15% off pricing. At this moment, all of the exhausts listed below are in stock except the black coated 7.3L exhaust, but we have more coming in next week!

Here's a video to show some more info on the 7.3L kits (note, this also fits the 6.2L if you or a buddy have a non-Tremor truck):

And here's the link to each of the exhausts:

S5247AL (Aluminized Steel): 4" Cat Back, Single Side, AL, Ford F-250/350 6.2L/7.3L Super/Crew Cab 2017 - 2022 - S5247AL
S5247304 (T304 Stainless): 4" Cat Back, Single Side, T304, Ford F-250/350 6.2L/7.3L Super/Crew Cab 2017 - 2022 - S5247304
S5247BLK (Black Coated): 4" Cat Back, Single Side, Black Coated, Ford F-250/350 6.2L/7.3L Super/Crew Cab 2017 - 2022 - S5247BLK

Next up for the 6.7L guys, we've got a number of filter back exhausts. The options include both 4" and 5" systems, single exit, dual exit, and even the old school "Cool Duals" setup.

I'll be the first one to admit that the DPF on these trucks does kill the majority of the exhaust sound. However, there are a couple things to note. First, the stock pipes after the filter are a 3.5" diameter so going to a 4" or 5" system will give you a little deeper tone and you remove a small resonator that's on the back section of the exhaust. So you are removing some restriction after the filter and you are removing a resonator for a little sound increase and turbo noise, but at the end of the day, this is going to mostly be an aesthetic upgrade.

Here are your options:

4" Single Exit:
S6289AL (Aluminized Steel): 4" Filter Back, Single, AL, Ford F-250/350/450 6.7L 2017 - 2022 - S6289AL
S6289409 (T409 Stainless): 4" Filter Back, Single, T409, Ford F-250/350/450 6.7L 2017 - 2022 - S6289409
S6289BLK (Black Coated): 4" Filter Back, Single, Black Coated, Ford F-250/350/450 6.7L 2017 - 2022 - S289BLK

4" Dual Exit:
S6290AL (Aluminized Steel): 4" Filter Back, Single Side Dual Exit, AL, Ford F-250/350/450 6.7L 2017 - 2022 - S6290AL
S6290409 (T409 Stainless): 4" Filter Back, Single Side Dual Exit, T409, Ford F-250/350/450 6.7L 2017 - 2022 - S6290409

Now, before I discuss the 4" Cool Duals and 5" exhausts, I want to add a warning here. I called MBRP this afternoon and asked them about the 5" exhaust fitment on the 6.7L Tremor and was informed that their engineering department didn't have any issues with fitment, but that answer wasn't the most reaffirming. I know that Banks Power explicitly states that their 5" exhaust doesn't fit on the Tremor models due to the larger spare tire. Now, I have seen from some members on here who have dropped the spare and adjusted it further away from the spare tire and that may work with MBRP, but I can't guarantee anything at this time.

4" Cool Duals:
S6291409 (T409 Stainless): 4" Filter Back, Cool Duals, T409, Ford F-250/350/450 6.7L 2017 - 2022 - S6291409

5" Single Exit:
S62930AL (Aluminized Steel): 5" Filter Back, Single, AL, Ford F-250/350/450 6.7L ex. Reg Cab 2017 - 2022 - S62930AL
S62930409 (T409 Stainless): 5" Filter Back, Single, T409, Ford F-250/350/450 6.7L ex. Reg Cab 2017 - 2022 - S62930409

And lastly, if you or your friends have any other vehicles that you'd like to add an MBRP exhaust on and take advantage of this savings, please feel free to send me a PM or reach out to us and we'll be happy to extend this savings to you!

If you have any questions about anything at all, please don't hesitate to send me a message!
Just ordered. Order 8430. Can you swap the tip to black.

Can you confirm the black tips are Stainless..

Hey Bill,

Thank you sir! I'm glad you contacted me and we got that black tip added for you. To answer the question for any other folks who may be interested, we cannot swap the tips that are in the kit. They are sold as-is based on the manufacturer's part number.

Also, coatings do not stick to stainless. So all of the black tips are coated aluminized steel.

I Have the 7.3L, and got the 4" system. I just measured my clearance. 1" to heat shield, cold. I've attached a photo. Truck is dirty from some two tracking, but you get the point.

Nick,

This was an excellent event!

I'm glad I ordered the T304 system.

My impressions of the system after ~1,000 miles:
Unloaded: Unobtrusive cabin sound, As advertised, the exhaust has a deep tone, and is reminiscent of big blocks from the Muscle Car era.
Loaded: This is pulling a ~10,000 lb Fifth wheel, in rolling Northern Lower Penninsula Michigan.
Idle to ~1750 RPM - Good low, throaty exhaust note
1750 - 2100 RPM - Gets a bit "Drony". Exhaust note is very noticeable, but does not overpower in-cabin conversations. THis is the RPM for 65-75 MPH cruising (In tow/haul mode). Not recommended for hangover/migraine driving...
2100+ RPM - My buddy had a big block speed boat. I loved the roar of that thing at WOT (Wide Open Throttle). I have it now!
