Good afternoon and Happy Friday! After our warm welcome yesterday, we wanted to get started by offering our first Group Buy!

This month we'll be offering 15% discount on all MBRP exhausts for both the 7.3L and 6.7L owners! Just enter code "MBRP21" at checkout!

First we'll start with the 7.3L guys, we have 3 options for you! All of these kits produce the same sound, the difference is the construction. Choose from Aluminized Steel, T304 SS, or the Black Coated version. The Black Coated version is an Aluminized Steel exhaust and everything from the muffler to the rear of the truck has a high heat black finish. This is a 4" resonator back system that features a 5" angle cut exhaust tip. We also have a number of tip options available if you'd like to swap them out for further customization. And they will also be eligible for the 15% off pricing. At this moment, all of the exhausts listed below are in stock except the black coated 7.3L exhaust, but we have more coming in next week!

Here's a video to show some more info on the 7.3L kits (note, this also fits the 6.2L if you or a buddy have a non-Tremor truck):

And here's the link to each of the exhausts:

S5247AL (Aluminized Steel): 4" Cat Back, Single Side, AL, Ford F-250/350 6.2L/7.3L Super/Crew Cab 2017 - 2022 - S5247AL
S5247304 (T304 Stainless): 4" Cat Back, Single Side, T304, Ford F-250/350 6.2L/7.3L Super/Crew Cab 2017 - 2022 - S5247304
S5247BLK (Black Coated): 4" Cat Back, Single Side, Black Coated, Ford F-250/350 6.2L/7.3L Super/Crew Cab 2017 - 2022 - S5247BLK

Next up for the 6.7L guys, we've got a number of filter back exhausts. The options include both 4" and 5" systems, single exit, dual exit, and even the old school "Cool Duals" setup.

I'll be the first one to admit that the DPF on these trucks does kill the majority of the exhaust sound. However, there are a couple things to note. First, the stock pipes after the filter are a 3.5" diameter so going to a 4" or 5" system will give you a little deeper tone and you remove a small resonator that's on the back section of the exhaust. So you are removing some restriction after the filter and you are removing a resonator for a little sound increase and turbo noise, but at the end of the day, this is going to mostly be an aesthetic upgrade.

Here are your options:

4" Single Exit:
S6289AL (Aluminized Steel): 4" Filter Back, Single, AL, Ford F-250/350/450 6.7L 2017 - 2022 - S6289AL
S6289409 (T409 Stainless): 4" Filter Back, Single, T409, Ford F-250/350/450 6.7L 2017 - 2022 - S6289409
S6289BLK (Black Coated): 4" Filter Back, Single, Black Coated, Ford F-250/350/450 6.7L 2017 - 2022 - S289BLK

s6290-usd.webp

4" Dual Exit:
S6290AL (Aluminized Steel): 4" Filter Back, Single Side Dual Exit, AL, Ford F-250/350/450 6.7L 2017 - 2022 - S6290AL
S6290409 (T409 Stainless): 4" Filter Back, Single Side Dual Exit, T409, Ford F-250/350/450 6.7L 2017 - 2022 - S6290409

Now, before I discuss the 4" Cool Duals and 5" exhausts, I want to add a warning here. I called MBRP this afternoon and asked them about the 5" exhaust fitment on the 6.7L Tremor and was informed that their engineering department didn't have any issues with fitment, but that answer wasn't the most reaffirming. I know that Banks Power explicitly states that their 5" exhaust doesn't fit on the Tremor models due to the larger spare tire. Now, I have seen from some members on here who have dropped the spare and adjusted it further away from the spare tire and that may work with MBRP, but I can't guarantee anything at this time.

4" Cool Duals:
S6291409 (T409 Stainless): 4" Filter Back, Cool Duals, T409, Ford F-250/350/450 6.7L 2017 - 2022 - S6291409

5" Single Exit:
S62930AL (Aluminized Steel): 5" Filter Back, Single, AL, Ford F-250/350/450 6.7L ex. Reg Cab 2017 - 2022 - S62930AL
S62930409 (T409 Stainless): 5" Filter Back, Single, T409, Ford F-250/350/450 6.7L ex. Reg Cab 2017 - 2022 - S62930409

And lastly, if you or your friends have any other vehicles that you'd like to add an MBRP exhaust on and take advantage of this savings, please feel free to send me a PM or reach out to us and we'll be happy to extend this savings to you!

If you have any questions about anything at all, please don't hesitate to send me a message!

Very Cool!!

I've been looking at this system for a while but one thing keeps holding me back. Some guys claim that with this system there is a drone when towing????

Any information or thoughts????

I think you're referring to the 7.3L system because the 6.7L exhausts don't add enough volume to cause any drone.

Regarding the 7.3L system, our other customers with them are really enjoying them. I haven't heard any reports of drone, but nothing is out of the realm of possibility. One of the things I would keep in mind though that this exhaust does keep the factory resonator in place and the factory diameter piping. Only after the resonator does the pipe diameter change to 4" and then goes into the MBRP welded muffler. Then exits with the 5" slash cut rolled tip.

I know they didn’t change much externally on a 2022 from the 2020/2021s but the black coated 4” MBRP single tip exhaust should work on a 2022 F-250 Tremor w/ the 7.3L right? And thanks for stepping up on this!

Yes, sorry for not adding that!!

And of course thanks too!!

Respectfully, drone is a product of frequency, not volume.

Our understanding is that nothing regarding the powertrain is changing on the 7.3L for the 2022 model year. I believe the majority of the changes are to the truck's interior and some minor exterior aesthetic changes.

Of course! If you have any other questions, please let me know.

You're absolutely correct. However in my experience across a number of platforms when you have the combination of a resonator and a muffler, you tend to not have drone issues. Even some mufflers when tuned properly can eliminate drone on certain platforms. For example, the 3.5L HO Raptor is notorious for drone, however Corsa exhaust on those trucks produce no drone thanks to the specific design of their muffler.

The 7.3TS304 unit, is the Stainless coated with anything?

Hi there, there is no coating needed on the T304 version. T304 stainless steel is impervious to corrosion. Additionally, any PRO series exhaust from MBRP, which includes the T304 version for the 7.3L is covered by MBRP's no hassle lifetime warranty.

I put the black coated system on my Godzilla at 150 miles on the odometer. Yes it's louder than the factory exhaust that's why I got it. I bought a gas truck and wanted it to sound like a gas truck! To me it's not really over the top loud with drone while towing but you can hear it when the engine is under load at low RPM. I actually prefer this as I like to feel what the engine is doing via my ear vs looking at the dash for tach and gear readings. When I remote start the truck I can hear it start up from inside the house with the windows closed. I can still carry on a decent conversation on the cell phone via hands free and the other end of the call hears no difference if that helps put things in prospective. I was able to remove the factory system without cutting it and still have it on the side of the house just in case I wanted to go back but honestly I don't see that happening, probably going to put it out for the curb ferries soon for recycling.

Appreciate you chiming in! We still have plenty of these in stock and on sale for those interested!

I just ordered my system. Discount is great, and chat replies are prompt! I'm excited to install, and exerience.
Thank you for your review, 818boneman. You answered the questions I was pondering.
Out of curiosity, I never paid attention to shipping estimate times. What can I expect?

Ordered mine last night and received confirmation of shipment today with delivery scheduled for Tuesday, June 15th.

Appreciate the support, @RonnieB and @Tremor76! Looking forward to hearing your thoughts on the systems.

Most of our exhaust orders are shipping same day or next day. Ground delivery is anywhere from 1 to 5 days depending on where you're located. Thank you!
Received today and will post up impressions as soon as I have the time to install?
Thanks for the excellent service!
