I was turning around in the woods over the weekend and hooked a tree stump with the right side of my front bumper while backing up. SOB! ? It pulled it out & down some. I had a hard time not getting really pissed about it. I think I’m going to try to jack it in...

Not bad all things considered. At least you didn’t catch a body panel! And this is exactly why to get chrome bumpers on a truck’s truck. I don’t think painted ladies would have fared as well.

I’ve owned trucks my entire life and used them for both work and a lot of hunting. I have to tell you that first scar on a new truck hurts so badly… in a strange way, I’m glad when it finally gets out of the way. If we’re being honest with ourselves, there are a lot more to come. Do what you can to straighten her out, but I’m glad to see you using the truck the way they were intended, not as a mall crawler or urban cowboy rig.

I can 100% empathize with you.

The delivery guys had just dropped the first Tremor off at my house when I drove around the wet yard and slid backwards into a tree, cracking a taillight and denting the bumper. Hadn't even driven the truck on a public road.

My wife was upset until I reminded her that the guys from the dealership had just driven off in the Tacoma. The same Tacoma she backed into a stump in the yard on Day Three of our ownership, so all I really did was take the title of 'Who'll Wreck It Soonest' from her.

Ratchet strap and tree should fix it...that won't even be noticeable..

This- I was having a hard time coping with the fact I didn’t get painted bumpers. This never occurred to me. I feel better now

but as mentioned earlier, now a nick in the paint doesn’t hurt near as bad.......

That sucks..at least it wasn't the steps or paneling!!! Time for one of those ranch hand bumpers? I installed steps on one of my trucks....2 days later cleaned the driver side off on a stump!!! Hurts bad and pisses you off at first!!! upgrades after that!!
