I had some work done on the Tremor and they had to remove the bed. Now the bed bolts are not bed lined and I want to fix it. I also have some damage from use in the bed liner that could use some repair too. The truck has the factory spray in bed liner. It is not soft or sticky. Most things still slide on it and it does its job. I doubt anything would be a perfect match because it has faded unevenly over the years and any repair material is going to fade too.

I looked around and there are lots of products for spray bed liner repair and also the roll on options. I could just pick one and go but thought I would investigate what others have done.

What have you used to repair your bed liner? Why did you pick it? Would you recommend it?

I believe the bolts are one time use. So if a Ford dealer is removing it, they shouldn't be re-using the bolts.
The body shop (if dealer associated) will probable have a spray in shop they use. They will probably ignore it until you specifically ask about it.

Who removed the bed and why?
Body damage to the bed side. Basically the same reason as the post below.

Public Service Notice, if you try to lane split on the freeway in your Yukon Denali, it will not fit and the Super Duty you're trying to pass will win.
Interesting I am having my bed removed by the body shop to inspect/fix any issues from the accident and am wondering how they’ll deal with the bolt issue.
Make sure to address this right away. I did not even think to look in the bed when I picked mine up. I'm contemplating taking it back or just doing the touch up myself.

Interesting. Maybe I need to take my truck back and not address this myself. My questions still stand though. I just might fix this myself to avoid the hassle. Its free to take it back except for my time.

If you have a Ford dealer you trust, ring the sales manager and ask them who they send naked trucks to for coating.
Depending on the size of the dealer, they may spray in house.
Factory is well known for peeling due to less than stellar prep. If you don't have a Ford dealer you trust, call the local Line-x or equivalent and ask for their input.

this ^^ is accurate. Mine is peeling on the rear near the tailgate. Should've just had it Line-X'd. Glad it doesn't bother me yet.

Bed bolts are absolutely one time use from what a master tech told me.

Also adding, the Ford spray in liner is very thin and cheap, I'd have it redone by aftermarket shop if I was you. I stopped optioning the factory liner for that reason.

The shop that does all my mods was also a Line-X dealer (not sure who they're spraying now), but they removed the bed bolts when spraying the truck so they're not sealed in with the liner in case the bed needed to be removed. If you have the bolts sprayed, there's a good chance that you'd then have damage to the liner should you ever need to remove the bolts again in the future.

I believe that a Line-X liner can be repaired by any Line-X shop, so you'd have to see if you can find a shop that sprays something similar to the factory liner to see if they can repair it.
