Clips on 24 grill

Here’s what ends up happening if you take the grill off 4-5 times, or if you’re not particularly careful when doing it, could happen the first time. I noticed just now, on my 4th time, that one of my clips was broken. I super glued it back, remains to been seen if it will hold.

I'd like to kick the engineer that designed these grills to hook to the headlights right square in the coin purse! I took the grill off my 24 Plat and one of these broke for me too. I was like frigging Kitty Softpaws with it and it still bloody broke. I used epoxy to attach it and so far, so good.

For those of you that have a lot of play in the grill around the lights, I had that as well but my OCD compelled me to pull off all the metal clips and pinching all clips tighter using my vice and channel locks along with needle nose and pulling the compression arms (the metal arm in the center top/bottom) up a bit. While it did not get rid of all the play it did significantly tighten the loops on the headlights. I suppose now, if I ever take the POS off again, I am totally fooked and will break most of them no matter how dainty I am.

Meh, that's for future me to deal with and right now I say f@#k future me. I am sure future me will say the same thing about past me when the time comes. Good thing future me and past me never meet, that would be a good fight.
