Carli Rear shackles with factory springs

How often do you feel you need to purge/grease them? Do you do it with oil changes or wait till you hear noise (I've heard they can be noisy, but I could be wrong, and maybe the noise was related to the deaver leaf packs)?

The Carli rear shackles do help with the small wash board stuff.

Add their torsion sway bar and good shocks and you will see a great difference.

Yes I have Accutune Fox 2.5 DSC and like you say the combination of shock & shackles seem to work well together to smooth things out. Can’t comment on the sway bar yet.

My search came up with limited feedback unless I missed something. Who here is running the Carli rear leaf shackles on factory springs and was there a noticeable difference? Wanting to try these out if justified. Thanks!

Have you considered the products from Sultastic? They are definitely more expensive, but Installation seems about the same. Sultastic makes some pretty fantastic claims about ride improvement but I'd be interested to know if anyone here has used them on a Tremor and how that worked out.

I think despite the URL, it really doesnt say that it's for the F250/350. Either the URL is wrong, their marketing team is crap or both.

No where on the site does it say they do products for Ford. Only review is for Chevy and Dodge.

The link is correct. I won't disagree that the model specifics in their post is a bit lacking. I spoke with them about it to be sure as I wanted to see if there were different models or any concerns for the Tremor. All F-350s use the same one.

They also have a new adjustable one (twice the price of course) but they'll talk for a long time about it if you bother to ask.

I think the long term users ended up taking them off as either too soft or just didn't last.

Three year warranty tells me not to go with them. So I'd say...yea they work, they just don't last.

Sulastics raise the rear end while the Carlis do not. Both cause extra squatting over stock when loaded. The Sulastic rubber is part of the mechanical design which can fail, while the Carlis just use replaceable bushings. I'd be surprised if the ride quality when new is much different between the two. Carlis are cheaper and look better. Seems like an obvious choice.

With the Carli stuff, yes. How I see it : As the bushing isn't vulcanized to the shackle it tends to rotate easier with suspension movement.

Finally got them. Install was less than a hour and that was due to the lower shackle being stubborn going into the leaf spring hanger mount.

Haven’t driven it yet and can’t say there is a difference in ride height. I added Tremor blocks(so basically my truck IS a TREMOR ) to my Carli kit early on as the ass end looked low and I like trucks with rake. Ass end is about 1” higher than the front.

Carli shackles aren't really known to drop the ride height. It's not a thing to worry about.

I installed my Carli shackles a couple nights ago, so got to spend my first full day with them yesterday. They seemed to have rounded some of the hard edge off the rear suspension. For the money and time I think it was worth it at this point.

Ordered the Carli sway bar yesterday, so we'll see how that goes with an otherwise stock suspension.
