Trying to determine if shop bent pipe doing exhaust. 23+ have a different setup vs previous. My neighbor’s 250 this part is straight but IIRC Tremors have F350 rear ends?

Yes this is nitpicky, yes the brake pipe is functionally fine. I’m leaning toward it was this way to make it line up with the holder and the bend looks too clean to be from being sloppy with exhaust work, but I feel like I remember it being straight as my buddy mangled his doing exhaust on his Denali so I checked it to see how much room was back there before taking truck in.

I see the bend referring to. It does give you more clearance from potential rubbing on the diff cover. I wouldn’t be concerned with it at all. You can even bend it back without issue.

Probably just a difference in manufacturing the line or maybe got tweaked when installing it on the line. Lots of variables but the line looks very useable.
Inclined to agree, but this whole thing has been tedious and why I usually do everything myself. Don’t think I could get stock stuff off in driveway without cutting.

They had good intentions but lifted truck by trans member in front and then apprentice working on it bottomed out Y-pipe bolts instead of getting fully threaded bolts or using spacers under heads, so now I’m looking at things closer.

I’d be more worried about that nick in the wiring harness.

Looks like there is a lot of production variance in line and I’m misremembering that whole leg being straight on mine. Here’s a new truck showing a bend in that leg, allbeit a little different than mine.

OEM CAD shows it to be straight
HOWEVER, i should add that the OEM cad file for my truck's receiver... the dims do not match some on my truck so... Like some said, could be mfg'ring differences.

clip holding brake line at very top is even different on mine. I have multiple 23 and newer trucks with both the sterling 11.6 rear and the dana m300 rear. wish I knew which option or reason for use of the 2 different rears in same trucks

I’d compare it to my 26, but I’ve already put two offsets in it for more diff cover clearance.
