BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A KO3

Put 900 miles on my KO3s from far north west Texas to Hattiesburg MS today. It rained the entire time. Currently pretty pleased with the wet performance of these tires.

I am looking forward to trying the KO3’s. We have the KO2’s on our 4Runner currently and I ran them for years (originals and KO2’s) on my 1/2 tons. White letter out, of course!

Use to run white letters on my truck tires back in the day.

It was a pain keeping them white until I once learned to use SOS pad on them

These are hands down my favorite tires. I ran several sets on my Nissan Frontier and Titans. The trick to keeping white letters clean is to use any dish soap with lemon scent. Don't know why but it works. Now if I could find a way to horse my pig of a truck thru the drive thru lane without turning my white letters into whitewalls after curbing the inside back tire!!!!

Ko- tires have always been a great option... Im interested to see how these Ko3's will wear with time.

The duratracs are god awful. I have heard a first hand account of a professional driver who does the benchmark testing for another big name tire company like BFG.... After driving on a road and dirt track for a week with Duratrac's, this renown and independent driver got out of the truck and said that based on how iratic the tires handle in turns, particularly high speed turns, he said he would refuse to drive his family in any car with them. Seemed dramatic to me at the time, but he had no reason to single out these tires like that... In a test of 10 of the most popular all terrains.

Ever since then they scare me too lol.

That was my impressions as well when the Duratracs were new. After a couple thousand miles they weren’t nearly as bad, but by no means were they good.

Those are the tires that were a close second for me. Went with the Nittos 37/13.5/18, got a smoking deal from family friend. I had the Trail Grapplers on it but they were so noisy, they rubbed bad and came on none tremor wheels that were chrome and just not my thing. Since switching the truck handles better and noise went way down and I still have a nice aggressive look. They still rub a little if I peg it all the way but that is rare enough I put up with it. What do you think? Before and after tire and wheel swap.

I ran some six or more sets of KO2's in the last 8-9 years on different vehicles and I currently have them on my motorcycle trailer and the camper, big fan of those bad boys over the years. I ran a dozen or more sets of the original KO's before them so it's safe to say that I am huge fan of the line. I look forward to getting some KO3's in a 285/70/17 for the GX when the time comes.

Put a set of the K03's on my Land Rover and am very pleased so far. Noticeably quieter than the K02's IMO.

I ran 5 sets of the original KOs before the KO2s, and was very hesitant to try the KO2. Suffice to say I wasn’t a fan of the KO, but that was the tire my company allowed me to buy. I had blowouts and flats on every set. All on 3/4 ton Chevys and a Dodge. I never had a blowout on the 10-11 sets of KO2s I went through, and loved them on everything but heavy trucks. As of today I’m 15K miles into these KO3s on a 2024 GMC Sierra 1500. I’m very happy with the results so far. Better wet weather traction, and less noise than the KO2. Everything else seems to be the same.

Are those last gen Tremor wheels? How wide are they?

All 18" Super Duty factory wheels from 2005 when they were introduced until present are 18 x 8 with a +40mm offset. They are dimensionally identical and completely interchangeable and only cosmetically differ. This is true irregardless of trim level or off-road package. So to answer your question, those are 8" wide. (they sure look like MY22 and earlier Tremor wheels, so I assume that they are)

I put some Baja Boss AT's on my 2020 F350 yesterday. They are 37/12.5/20. I will put these on the Tremor when it comes in. (October)

Only have 20 miles on the Baja's but I like them so far.

I looked at the K03 but wanted the 37's and they don't make them yet.
These Baja's replaced a set of 35" K02's. They had 52K miles on them and still had some tread left.
Those K03's should be a good tire for you,

I chose baja boss also for my Tremor...2 years ago....there quiet and they perform...getting great tire wear....and they look awesome. 305-70-18

I've never run them on a HD truck, always on Toyota/Lexus SUV's and Jeeps so much lighter weight vehicles.

All my complaints on them have been on HD trucks, so that could definitely be the cause for difference of opinion. I’ve loved them on half tons and the wife’s 4Runner.

Just got a set of these installed in the factory size (285/75/18) so far all I can say is they look good.

Got a little over 45k out of the Duratracs and really had no complaints with them except maybe the noise. Could have probably got another couple k's out of them but had a slow leak in one so I just went with the full replace.

The key to keeping tires with white letters looking their best is to have the white letters facing under the truck.

So the 37x12.5r18 f load is now available. per the specs it is the same size as the toyo at3 37". Anyone want to take a guess if it will also fit in the stock spare location on 23+ MY
