I saw the same notice (that my points I received in Dec 2023 were going to expire in October '24 if I didn't have a Ford credit card) so I spend the 42,000 ($210) on a Ford OEM backup camera (had another $100 out of pocket). I pulled the original one out of the tailgate and mounted in an aftermarket housing affixed to my slide-in pickup camper. Figured I had a lot of time before I needed to find a replacement before winter (when camper comes off for 4 or 5 months and tailgate goes back on). Tried a ebay camera that was supposedly OEM and it didn't work. From another ebay buyer that was removing them from pickups and selling, some had success and others no. I figured points were expiring anyway so I'd just buy an OEM one right from Ford. Just received it and have to test it.
I was originally going to spend it on an a third OEM key fob since you can only program them yourself if you have two good fobs (once you loose one, it's too late and you have to pay dealership to program). But I found online retailer with fobs that are identical (made by same factory for 1/5 the price of Ford one; just doesn't say ford on the back of the fob). Bought two, programmed both in about 4 minutes, and now have 4 fobs. Will get the physical keys cut by a locksmith. But if you want OEM and don't have anything else to spend your points on, OEM fobs are another option.
I do all my own maintenance. I don't trust local dealership to do maintenance anyway. They screwed up my winch install so bad, and that was an experienced tech. The beginners they are paying peanuts to do oil changes is NOT putting my truck and camper on a lift and mucking around with it. They gave me a few free oil changes when I bought the truck and I said don't bother. It will never be in here. Ha. At initial delivery, I had them NOT hand wash it either as they do it by hand out back. Wanted to avoid them putting wash mitt swirls in the paint on day one after I saw how they do it.
One can get quality oil and filters for a lot cheaper than Motorcraft from dealership, but yeah, maintenance parts is another tempting area to spend and what I would have used my points for if I'd not needed the second backup camera.
Long winded way of saying I really struggled on what to spend my points since I could source everything I considered for cheaper from another source (be that aftermarket or OEM from dealerships that don't take points). In the end, buying the second backup camera worked out.
