I love this look. So glad I did it also. When I see the pics of the stock exhaust now, I’m even more glad I did this. Looks badass!
It’s a 5 inch exhaust and stock is 3 1/2 wouldn’t fit . I think it does help slightly it definitely has a slightly deeper toneAny reason to not just put the tip on if the full exhaust doesn’t do anything?

After ALLOT of measuring and test fitting, I ended up making the new pipe the same length as the intermediate pipe I removed from the truck. NOTE: THIS IS *NOT* WHAT BANKS SUGGESTS, BUT WHAT I FOUND WORKED BEST FOR MY SITUATION AND THE FITMENT ON MY TRUCK

The only "tight" spot I had was where this hanger (center in pic above) came close to the cross frame support when it was pushed toward the front of the truck.
