Hey guys a simple question, do I reinstall any of original support pieces, doesn’t seem to make sense? The destructions doesn’t indicate that. If I don’t, is there any reason not to sell the old lights? Thanks
BTW really easy hook ups and all that !

Are you able to still use the factory fog light button?

Yes, the amber lights connect for the factory fog switch and the white lights connect to an upfitter switch. Also, the upfitter can turn on all 4 lights as well, even if the fog switch is off.

This is the exact kit on his truck and we have it in stock: https://apollo-optics.com/ford-supe...aja-designs-w-upfitter-baja-designs-447737up/

If you want white fog lights instead of amber, then you'll want this kit: https://apollo-optics.com/ford-supe...aja-designs-w-upfitter-baja-designs-447736up/

Nice. I’ll have to get this in the near future. Man this is my first night on this forum and I’m already running out of money!

Thank you Nick, here is my question, how do you align the lights perfectly? Is there a formula on distance from a wall, then how many inches the main lights?

Honestly, I like to find a dark shopping center or a dark road at night. Then turn on your headlights. Your fog lights should come in right below your headlights. Your off-road lights should be straight ahead to where they're most usable. They're no real science to it, just whatever works best for you on those. But you do want to be cognizant that the SAE fogs aren't mounted too high.

You don't need any of the stock components. Install turned out great!
Will the outer bumper supports fit back on after the lights are installed? I have the bumper gap fillers which look like they attach to the outer bumper supports which I'd like to keep. My lights are in transit and will install next week.

I didn't realize the aux switch turned all 4 lights on. I thought I wired it wrong and checked it again. I emailed baja and they said maybe the anti feedback was installed wrong. Seems everything is fine and it's wired correctly. From what Nick says, this is normal?

I just installed the BD pocket SAE/Pro for the upfitter switch. The oem fog switch turns on the fogs. The upfitter turns on all 4 lights. I was under the impression the upfitter turned on just the Pros. For anyone who has installed these, how many lights are turned on by the upfitter?

Good morning @Vertix60, my setup behaves the same as yours. With headlights in the off position, turning on the upfitter switch will light up both the oem (amber in my case) and the white fogs. Turning off the upfitter and using headlight and oem fog switch will only illuminate the oem amber fogs.

Good to know, thanks. BD thought I might of miswired it but I checked the connections multiple times.

Looks so good! Nice work!

Everything is installed correctly. Fog light switch turns on the SAE lights only. Aux switch turns on all 4 lights. The anti-back feed harness's purpose is to not allow power to be sent back into the factory fog light wiring when you flip the upfitter.

If you want the AUX switch to only turn on the Squadron Pros, remove the anti-feed harness and the small 2-way splitter. Plug the 55" harness into the Squadron Pro on each side of the truck and then plug into the upfitter harness and make the connection at upfitter and the 2 pairs of lights will work completely independently of one another.
