Anybody need a Unibody Ford Tremor? Not sure even a Pheasant would touch this. Or would they?

Woud rather have one of these asian mini Kei trucks to be honest, especially one with a dump bed.

I had a Honda Acty for a few years, that thing was a little beast. It was a tight fit in the cab!

My buddy has a 2019 F250 diesel and a maverick. He uses the maverick as his work truck (runs his one pest control). Says it’s perfect for that. Great MPG and carries what he needs. But he has the big boy for real truck work/towing his toys around. They all have their place

Haven’t started working on mine yet, but the dump bed is awesome.

They have their place, just not off road or hard use.

My kid bought one as an economical and reliable commuter. Payments plus gas is less than gas was on his old F-250.

He's bored out of his mind with it.
I had one follow me through the entire alpine loop, he even did some trails that I couldn't, due to size.

I dig the Maverick. Different tool; different use. It’s literally a compact SUV platform but with a bed, not a truck TRUCK, so within the context of those expectations…

I need a dedicated work vehicle to keep the miles off my Super Duty, and a bare bones XL Maverick is on the list. At around $25K it is a crazy value in our new, hyper-inflated auto market.

Not sure a loaded up, $40K+ model like the Tremor makes as much sense though. It’s been a while since I’ve looked, but I’m pretty sure you can still get a livable 1/2 ton full size for close to the same money as a loaded Maverick. At that level they’re a little silly.

My Son-in-law bought a Maverick Lariat hybrid for commuting to replace a Toyota Prius. He said it gets about the same mileage and He really likes it.

I'd consider it for a daily, depending on how I get on with the SD and tight city streets - save the SD for towing.

A hybrid would be nice. Also keeping my eye on the Canoo - their bulldog concept is pretty neat.

This is the only picture I have of the Maverick with the Scout together. This is the expectation of an off road vehicle. One does not do what the other does. Although with the super soft coils in the rear, the bed load capacity without a lot of squat is about the same.

Both are the small truck of their day. Now a Maverick with 37s, tons, linked, and a V8 swap would be interesting.

"At 1,200 pounds, the Tremor’s payload is 300 pounds less than other Mavericks, and it is restricted to 2,000 pounds of towing..."

Seems a bit non-trucky.

I really want one of these Maverick Tremors. Scott did a great job on that review. $35k for that thing seems like a steal too.

I have many capable off road vehicles, yet this weird little "trucklet" keeps me coming back.

I think it would be a fantastic daily in Utah with the crappy winter roads. I'd throw on a Smartcap and a fly rod holder (some call it a douche tube) and It'd be a done deal. I could then keep my more meaningful rigs away from all the salty roads.

Hahahaha. Dude you should 100% buy one! I think they’re cool too. People comparing it to a “truck” are missing the point. It’s a CUV with a truck bed, not supposed to haul a camper with it.

Now about the rod holder….
