I thought that perpendicular is the first spot I started with, now I have the grill on so I’m using a socket and level to adjust the sensor.See my posts above, just get it precisely perpendicular to the front of the truck, that’s where it is set from factory.
Unlike others who ran re-calibration and still experience issues, i measured mine while relocating acc; i haven't had a single error message, haven’t had a single problem in the 6000 miles half of it driving to florida and back mostly in ACC mode. It continued to work exactly the same as it did before relocation.
Maybe I installed the bracket itself a little crooked.
I also extended the connector myself but I doubt that’s the issue, each wire was individually soldered and covered with heat shrink.
I’m headed to a UTV event in Green River Utah this weekend so I’ll dig in once we get settled.
I installed the controller box just to the right of the sensor and the power wires across the bottom of the bracket, maybe that’s an issue.
