Actual Ford Tremor Payload

A dealer near me has the exact truck im looking at just with sunroof and bedliner. He will send me a pic of the sticker tomorrow. Thanks for all the help. But i feel like if i really want the 6.7 i will require a cclb
I have a 22 CCLB with 6.7. If you want to see my window sticker and payload lmk.

Wow, $105K for an average loaded Tremor Lariat.

Prices sure have changed in 2 years.
Welcome to canada lol. And most dealers are selling them for 5k+ over sticker in my area. I get major fleet pricing on personal vehicles through work so that truck roughly translates to 90k with discount but only for factory orders.

I have a question for the wise members of this forum. My yellow payload sticker reads 4007 pounds of available capacity. My gas tremor has a GVWR of 11300 lbs. I was interested in how the weight was distributed between the axles because I'll be getting a slide in camper soon. I went down to the nearest CAT scales and had the truck weighed. It effectively had nothing in it when I rolled onto the scales (even I stepped off to the side before pushing the call button) , but I did fill the gas tank before weighing. Long story short, the weight came back at 7040 lbs (4040 lbs front, 3000 lbs rear). That would put my payload at 4260 lbs by my calculations. Is it likely that the CAT scales are off by 250 lbs?

That is consistent with how the max payload is calculated - no driver/passengers and full fluids including fuel. I would be surprised if the scale is off by that much. I haven't weighed my truck yet so can't compare... Maybe just an OEM factor of safety? @ccw any thoughts, you have spent a lot of time digging into this topic!

That is super interesting! Agreed with Modman that you nailed how payload is calculated (full fluids, no humans), and also agreed that the scales are unlikely to be off that much. Pretty sure they're calibrated daily to be accurate to +-20 or 25 pounds.

Two things I can think of right now.

First: is your GVWR is actually 11,300? Did you get that from the grey door sticker on your truck specifically? Or are you going off of your order, internet knowledge, or something else?

Second: did you order your truck with the winch and it hasn't been installed yet? We haven't confirmed whether the winch is accounted for in the truck's listed payload capacity. If it is accounted for in the payload capacity and hasn't been installed then that could make up the difference.

Second: did you order your truck with the winch
I thought about that too initially but looked up his initial post and found this:

1. I ordered a 2022 F350 Tremor Lariat 7.3L, with essentially zero options. I got the 360 degree camera option and the universal garage door opener and that is pretty much it.
I assume that meant he did not order the winch...

Ah whoops, should have read that more closely. Well, other than the GVWR potentially being off I'm at a bit of a loss. :S

When I weighed mine on a DOT scale when new also came up with a payload that was a fewer hundred pounds higher than the listed sticker going by actual weight. I believe others have also found the sticker a little lower than actual weight calculations is various threads. I suspect there is some built in fudge factor for various options so Ford isn’t getting sued for a new truck not making the advertised payload before accessories.

Amazed yours is 625lbs. more than mine and I don't have 5th wheel or Winch but have about everything else. I do have the moon roof but that's not 625lbs. Hmmm

Maybe because his is a long bed?

Edit: Since it's hard to tell over the internet, my response is a sincere question/suggestion as to the reason why, and not a condescending answer.:ROFLMAO:

@ccw @2020Tremor @Modman

Thank you all for your replies. I can confirm that my GVWR is 11,300 and that I did NOT order the winch. Since everyone is pretty confident that CAT scales are accurate, then I'm going to count this as a win and be appreciative of the extra cushion that I'll have when loading up the camper. When I get a chance, I'll post some pics of the stickers.

My build is similar to yours (F-350 Tremor Lariott) - I don't have AS or Rapid heat - but have everyting else - here is my sticker and what I ordred. As noted above my truck was weighed when new (after winch install) with 1/4 tank of fuel and weighed 7,996 at a certified scale. So based on that I should have 3,504 less full fuel tank which would take away 190 lbs. +/- (7 lbs per gallon x 27 gallons) so 3,314. I have 11,500 GVWR.

I believe you are correct. With the F350 CCLB Max GVWR goes to 12400 with the 6.7L vs 11500 for the 6.7L in the CCSB.

F350 Tremor 7.3
5th wheel prep
!carpet
wheel well liners
spray in bed liner
Lariat Ultimate pkg
Tailgate step

Long tube headers/x pipe/2 14" Dynomax mufflers. Totally forgot to weigh the new exhaust. I'll weigh the factory system to see what that weighs.
