If these are anything like its predecessor, geolander at go15, which was bar none the quietest and smoothest road like mannered and looking AT tire for the tremors, they might be worth looking into.

Every once in a while someone comes onto the forum asking for exactly this - a tire close in size to oem tremor but with characteristics of an on road mannered tire that come with non-tremors.

This here tire is just an answer for them.

Only question left in my mind is whether these are just an addition to the product line or an eventual replacement for the G015. I'll know by the time my Land Cruiser is ready for a 3-season set in a couple years, but do notice they aren't available in that stock size yet, while the G015's are.

I think an eventual replacement, G015s will be phased out replaced by these G018s. Similar to how Falken did with their AT3W to AT4W gradual switch.

Even in the example above, G015s were not available in 305/70/18 , but G018s are a true 35” 12.4 wide tire. I would have 100% picked this tire size when i was selecting my g015s a year plus back, but that was not an option.

Good initial size offerings, tread looks to be a blend of all the latest and greatest from Toyo/Falken AT's, R and S speed ratings across the lineup, there's really a lot to like about this offering... would love it if they added a 315/70r18 that measures out close to the same diameter as the G003 in the same size. Agree that the sidewall is a bit bland.

Edit to add: I also love that it doesnt weigh nearly 80lbs like the Falkens and Mickey Thompsons

Amen! Like you i pay very close attention to combined weight, having experienced both 37 ridge grappler and falken AT4 on hd methods i know what slugs these heavy combos can be. This tire is on the lighter end of the spectrum.

Yokohama Geolander AT GO15

Anyone running the Yokohama Geolander at GO15?? It’s has the same specs as the Duratrac Seems a lot less aggressive and quieter than the more off-road truck tires, like the Duratrac. Anybody familiar with it? Thanks

Myself and @Winterized gave good honest feedback on it. Overall i thought it’s an excellent tire, i had one doubt on dry handling but that’s being picky. It truly was a whisper quiet and most comfortable AT tire i tested.

If anything, i think these G018s will be an improvement, it’s a new generation, and despite some comments above i don’t think it looks particularly bad. It’s not a nitto ridge grappler, but then those ridge grappler while looking good arw an obsolute garbage when it comes to ride quality.

I’ve had two sets now of the A/T XD and imo they’re the perfect tire for a heavy pickup that need a more aggressive tire. Really hope they don’t discontinue them. They dig extremely well for an all terrain, and aren’t as loud as a true mud terrain. Got over 40k miles out of my first set on the f350. 50k on f150 still had plenty of tread left when traded.

I heard mostly positive reviews on this tire. It would have been a lot more popular if it had 17/18/20 sizes in 37” offering.
