I remember telling one of my Patrolmen, the city will fund the level of service most people desire. If that means a sweet Police Interceptor that's what I'll drive. If the fund old VW Beetles with a manual transmission, I'll gladly drive those. But do something that limits my ability to put scumbags in jail, I'm gone.

I drove them all. Crown Vic, Impala, Diplomat. I HATED the dodge. Did everything I could to kill it. It would NOT DIE. Things got much easier when suvs become the norm.
