I have called Ford and they were helpful. That's actually how I found out about my VIN number being available as I had not received an email at that time from Ford.

Can you post the number you called?

Dumb question, Does the Lariat Ultimate package get ambient lighting? I just looked at a buddies KR window sticker and it states that option on the sticker. Apparently I’m not smart enough to find it on the Build Sheets. I really like that feature on my current truck. Hope I didn’t loose that too.

Looks like the Lariat has a fixed ambient lighting. Ultimate not required.

So my build week on the tracker shows 11/27. Dealer texted and said build date is 11/29. Is that the date it goes into production or is that the date that it is complete and built

Just checked the tracker. It went into production today!

Shipping our trucks once they are built isn’t anywhere near like Amazon Prime. They sit at the Kentucky plant in rail cars until four AutoRack rail cars worth of trucks is going to your destination. Then those rail cars are hooked up to a train that hauls them north to meet autorack rail cars with cars and trucks from the northern auto plants.
Then that train winds around the county heading to the final rails yard 1-4 hours from your dealer.
Then they are unloaded and according to my dealer can sit in an open lots for several weeks until there are enough to warrant car carriers to haul them up to the dealer.

My rail depot lot is 2-1/2 hours from my house. My dealer says they can’t go down and pickup my truck up and I can’t take my flatbed trailer down to get it either.
It just sits until enough cars need to go to the dealer. I’m 11 hours from Kentucky Plant. Dealer says 10 days to 3-1/2 weeks is what they are seeing to SuoerDuty ship times.
Basically depends on how many trucks are already at an intermediate location.

If your truck rolls off the line and is the last truck to fill a 4 Rail car autorack to your rail destination, you leave quick. Once you get to the rail destination and your the truck that triggers enough to car haul to dealer then you can get shipped in 7-10 days.

If your the first truck in the rail cars and the first batch to arrive at final rail destination your in for a long wait.

If you have a ramp number you’re going by rail even if it says convoy.

So I assume the ramp number is at the top of the window sticker? In my case it says convoy but the top says ramp W. Or is it the ramp number at the bottom CM6P.

If Thanksgiving doesn’t delay things, your truck will roll off the line next Wednesday and show as built on 11/29.

11/17 page updated and stayed 11/27

I’ve been “In Production” over a week now. I still don’t have a date or any asbuilt data. I was hoping to see that before Thanksgiving shutdown. Does anyone know when KTP is closed for the holiday?

Quick update for those trying to find timeline

Ford Site is down this AM.

Movement since Saturday....a bunch of BCE Modules are on the motorcraftservice web site. No PCM Modules

Week of 11/13 and went into production 11/9.

11/21 Update:
Still showing In Production but on the motorcraftservice web site I now have a "Tear Tag"...whatever that means.

Also, no change in modules....bunch of BCE but no PCM.

Mine's built too (waiting to ship) and the link to the sticker is bad on the order tracker screen. Try this format. It worked for me. http://www.windowsticker.forddirect.com/windowsticker.pdf?vin=#######. Hopefully that works for you.

Anyone order the Vehicle Safe Console Vault and go into production? I ordered in early August and still no updates other than the 1st "45 day" email... I wonder if that's what may be holding me up?

How about the Max recline seat?
