Also on the seat blowers. Does Ford use a stronger fan system just for a Platinum trim? I'm guessing no on that. I am very pleased with my Lariat Ultimate coolers. You can definitely feel air coming out of the seats with your hand. That was never the case on my 2 Sierras. If the Platinum is even stronger than that, wow...

I have a 24 Platinum and do not find the seat blowers all that effective to be honest. My 2014 F150 seemed to provide better cooling. Still better than nothing on a hot day.

Congrats Silver-Bolt, that's one good looking truck! I like that silver paint. Mine is a very similar order. A nearly 2 month turn around is incredible given how long some other people have had to wait in the past.

My order priority was a 6. No Idea how/why I ended up with a 6. Usually anything under a 10 has special circumstances attached with it. Mine was just a regular order.

My order priority is 10. Order placed on 6-22, and on 6-27 was scheduled for the week of 8-19. I think 19 is the default code, but I didn't ask for 10 or anything.

My understanding is that retail orders are given the priority codes 10-19, but the way the orders are scheduled is that it depends on the dealer. So the 10-19 priority range really only affects you to other orders within the same dealer network. So your dealer having an allocation is critical. Beyond that though I think there were a lot of delays caused by supply chain issues, so certain items were unavailable which pushed back orders. These shortages seemed to be on Tremors, 6.7 HO, and specific options but they changed from time to time. It seems like those shortages are fixed now. Based on the scheduling video there are still back ups on super duty orders but mostly for F450s.

Also I just read on the mustang7g forum that there is an additional thing called the Customer Order Verification Program where they submit the buyer's order and copy of your license as well. And COVP verified orders quality for "incremental allocation and priority scheduling." Not sure about what that means exactly, but it explains why the sales guy had me sign a buyers order for a cash sale for paperwork purposes.

What does priority code actually mean?

Does it just mean how much volume your dealership does, and gets priority? Or something else? Does a lower priority mean earlier build, usually?

Could be a mistake either way. Did you order wheel well liners for the front?

I ordered the optional wheel well liners and have all 4.

Yes that is a mistake. The dealer should have caught that on inspection. Have them get a new one for the passenger side, their dime.

That means the order has been sent to the factory. It will likely be built next week (your production week) and a date will populate under "In Production" on the tracker when it is on the production line. Congrats!

On the MY 24, no sleeve or pin. Also, they discontinued the box-link for cost savings. You can buy the brackets and lockable tie downs aftermarket.

Make sure you get the replacement brackets too. Don't just order the tie downs. You have to buy the kit that comes with the rectangular brackets to replace these new 24 tie downs. I had to oder them after.
