2024 MY Super Duty Order/Schedule/Build Thread

Having picked up Unicorn from Granger, some observations
  1. There is some mild learning curve getting WIFI navigation connected Car Play is wonderful
  2. Putting a 1,000 miles on it for break-in running up to South Dakota, running thru Spearfish and Vanocker Canyon there is a need for rear sway bar.
  3. Pulling the 8900lb toy hauler thru SD, WY, UT winds were a pain yet weight distribution hitch most helpful controlling trailer
  4. 6.7HO is smooth wonderful power instantly on demand regardless of altitude or weight of trailer
Am thrilled with the Tremor and hope others are too

2nd order, with factory power running boards this time (and moonroof) ETA 4/28-5/6. Dealer let me know yesterday, getting excited!

Can anyone help ? I recently took my 24 on its first real road trip . I went to use adaptive cruise and either it’s different then my ford escape or it didn’t get put on . I ordered a 24 tremor lariat ultimate package with 6.7 ho
 
Does anyone know if adding the max recline seats deletes the multi-contour "massage" seats? since I'm in limbo with my 24' king ranch tremor order just curious as a little last minute add on. If anyone has them and would like to speak to it.

It should not delete anything. The '23 MY SuperDuty trucks didn't get massaging seats due to supply chain issues (from what I heard anyway). For '24 MY they have been added back for the higher trim levels.
The only item I know that gets dropped when something is added is a higher trim level adds the Tremor package and then the power running boards get dropped and need to ne added back.

I added the max recline seats on our 24 King Ranch order. I personally was able to sit in a 24 King Ranch that had just come in with the max recline seats and it had the multi-contour option. Nice seats with the added shoulder area adjustment.
 
My truck has been at the dealership for a couple weeks.
When detailing for delivery they cracked the windshield, the next week they replaced it with a new one straight from the factory I’m told.
I was going in last Saturday to pick it up and got an email from my salesman around 8 am saying there were scratches in the new windshield and he wasn’t happy with it.
He then called me to convey the same and that he was going to make it right.
I do appreciate his attention to detail.
I haven’t even went to see it yet and it’s only about 4 miles away.
 
I did the max recline seats and I don’t think they have a message feature
 
I skipped them on my Lariat Ultimate because they don't seem to cool as well as the others. At least on the trucks I sat in. I would never use the recline function, but was happy to spend $335 as they look better. But after trying the cooling function, I stuck with the base seats.

I believe the multi-contour seats are only available in King Ranch, Platinum and Limited trim levels

I agree, the cooling seats are awesome. I forgot what swamp ass was on a multi-hour drive with those seats on!
 
I noticed the King Ranch package only offers Reflective LED Headlights. Unfortunately no option to upgrade to the Projector Headlights. Anyone have reviews on how the Reflective LED's perform? The LED quad lighting on my 20 Lariat Ultimate is awesome. This is a disappointment given the small price difference between the Platinum and King Ranch trim levels.

I think they had to give the Platinum something, considering that the King Ranch has a better interior and better wheels :)
 
Dealer just called. I just received my VIN. Order date 02/20/24, scheduled production date 06/24/24.

F350, Tremor, Lariat Ultimate, Black Appearance, Smart Scales, Fifth Wheel Hitch Prep, Sunroof, and fold down seats. Would love to see this date improve but that may be a bit optimistic.

It is really just incredible how all over the board the ordering and scheduling system is. I ordered an F350 Black / Dark Bronze King Ranch short bed with every option other than the Tremor pkg. on 3/12/24. The pickup is scheduled to be built the week of 5/27/14. I have been hoping just like you that I would get the e-mail saying your order has been pushed up. As far as I know my priority order was an 18. Never inquired about it getting lowered since at that point I felt luckier than most folks on this site in regards to getting their orders built. I ordered from a smaller dealer in Western Montana.
 
Why are you complaining that is a fast build that’s 2 months usually it’s 3+ months

I ordered from a smaller dealer in Alberta. My Priority code is 19. I am just grateful I have some movement as I have seen people waiting so much longer for their new rides.

Not sure who was complaining? I think most of us feel pretty lucky considering some of the orders have taken up to two years as some worst case scenarios have played out. Prior to the pandemic I had a couple of orders built and delivered over the years in 3 months and one in even less. I guess very lucky but at least got to experience it.. Nothing wrong with having some hope LOL!
 
well guys I finally got it. I got the email and got my VIN and a scheduled build date. it was ordered on 2/12/2024 email received today 5/2/2024 scheduled build date is to begin the week of June 24, 2024.

will admit rather pissed off at the moment, that according to ford website chat that the truck will not come with the massaging seats. they said it was only on the limited and there is no option to retrofit it, this was due to a chip shortage. which lets be real its been 4 years since covid, figure the shit out. but they did offer a whopping 300 dollar credit, for 1,700 bucks worth of massaging seat parts. my initial knee jerk reaction is to refuse delivery and try again in 2025. but I have time to cool off and see what I want to do when it actually gets here.


side question does anyone know when the 2025s will start? or when we will have more information on them?
