I called CSX today and my truck was due to be shipped to the final railyard the 3rd. It's still sitting in a different city with no eta and they don't know why. Perfect.

I may be interested. Can you post a link to the window sticker?I have a 2024 F250 KR Tremor that just got built. Completion build date of 1-9-2024.
I picked up my other 2024 KR on December 11 so I won’t be purchasing this one, so it is available.
It will be shipped to Tomball Ford in Houston TX.
Supposed to be no mark up either.
Let me know if anyone is interested.
Thanks.
The tremor package is being held up due to wheel limited availability other item constraints are 5th wheel/gooseneck prep, Power running boards are limited as well this week.Hello - I am moving back to the US and looking forward to getting back into a Tremor (had to sell my 2021 when I moved overseas).
I am considering putting an order in as I have ~ 6 months before I will be back in the states. Local dealer is telling me Tremor builds are taking a lot longer and trying to stear me towards a normal Lariat build....I really want the Tremor
Anyone have a rough idea on build times right now, I would be looking at the following options for a 2024 Lariat:
Equipment package 608A
6.7 HO
Black Appearance Package
Tremor Off Road Package
Pro Power Onboard 2kw
Lariat Ultimate Package
5th wheel hitch prep package
On board scale & smart hitch
All I can hope is that you were anticipating purchasing both…otherwise ordering 2 to increase odds of production is pretty crappy.I have a 2024 F250 KR Tremor that just got built. Completion build date of 1-9-2024.

Why is that crappy ?All I can hope is that you were anticipating purchasing both…otherwise ordering 2 to increase odds of production is pretty crappy.
Just my opinion.
It's crappy and unethical because it artificially inflates the demand on retail orders which pushes other retail orders out. Many folks including myself are waiting to be scheduled. When people do this, they're filling up the queue with custom orders that could have been used by people that actually intend on following through. Those throw away retail orders basically end up being stocking orders when they arrive at the dealer. There's lots of things that aren't illegal or against the rules, doesn't make it any less shitty. Why is that crappy? There is no rule against ordering as many trucks as you want. They aren’t yours until you sign the contract or provide funds for purchase. The dealer will gladly sell any orders a customer does not accept.
I collect watches. Rolexes are as difficult to get new as trucks are these days. I am on lists with multiple ADs for the same models. Whichever comes through first, I buy. Pretty simple strategy and nobody is harmed in the process.

The demand is there regardless. If the buyer doesn’t take the additional order, someone else will. We picked up a 2024 F350 CCLB last month someone didn’t take because they took a different truck they ordered (GMC). Sat on the lot less than an hour and had several other folks that wanted it.It's crappy and unethical because it artificially inflates the demand on retail orders which pushes other retail orders out. I’m not a dealership nor have I ever worked at one. However, I have ordered and purchased multiple new vehicles in my life.Again, my opinion.
Your analogy of being on a list for a Rolex is not the same as a truck order.
You submit an order for a truck, which (allegedly) goes into a queue to be produced.
More of the same orders increases wait times for all involved.
I also fancy watches. You can be on a ‘list’ at as many ADs as you want. But you don’t submit an order for the watch. If it comes in the shipment to the AD, they call the customer who has spent the most money with them to see if they want the desired model.
So you can’t walk in and ‘order’ a desirable Rolex. You simply wait for it to be delivered to the AD and then hope your sales associate is there on the day of delivery and claims it first. Getting a super duty is MUCH easier than a Rolex (at MSRP from an AD) in today’s climate given production numbers.
But this is not the forum to continue a watch discussion.![]()

I can’t seem get the Ford sight to pull up the sticker yet. Website says ford has not released it yet.
Was just built on the 9th
Dealer assigned priority only affects their own orders, not those competing for slots against other dealers. Dealers assign retail "sold custom orders" a more preferred priority over stocking orders that are meant to just be in dealer inventory. If you place multiple retail orders with multiple dealers, you can indeed impact the overall scheduling and screw other people trying to get their retail orders because you just added multiple straws drinking from the same glass. Retail order priority codes trump the stocking orders with scheduling.I’m not a dealership nor have I ever worked at one. However, I have ordered and purchased multiple new vehicles in my life.
I was told by my salesman, whom I have dealt with for over 12 years ( same dealership ) that customer orders can and do get assigned a priority number. That number is given to orders by the dealership. Different numbers mean different priority. If a dealership wants your order to be more likely to get built sooner, they can assign a higher priority number to your build.
Again, this is information was given to me by the dealer.
This truck order was the 1st time I learned about the priority number thing.
So it seems that the dealership has more to do with your truck being built than someone placing multiple orders
Something to ponder.
In my opinion
Sounds to me like that’s a Ford - Dealership issue.Dealer assigned priority only affects their own orders, not those competing for slots against other dealers. Nobody is saying the entire broken process falls on your shoulders alone. But yes, if you ordered multiple vehicles with no intention of buying both, you are part of the problem. I don't have time to explain this with hand puppets. Ford has a limited ability to produce vehicles and part constraints. If you order 2 high trim models and have certain features that are production limited, you're potentially preventing someone else's vehicle from getting built sooner or at all. That gooseneck. 6.7 HO, max recline or whatever on your "extra" truck could have made the difference on someone else's getting scheduled. When people custom order a truck it's because they want it the way they want it, not as a throwback in your particular color combo or option selections.Sounds to me like that’s a Ford - Dealership issue.
My placing an order for a truck doesn’t “ screw “ anyone else’s order for a truck.
I placed my order day 1 when the order banks opened up for 23’s
So I guess I was screwed by everyone who placed their order after me and they got their truck before me ?
That makes no sense.
If that was the case it should be 1st come 1st served. Which it’s not
So again, it sounds like a Ford - Dealership issue, not a me problem
I had to wait for my truck to be built - 14 months -
Don’t blame the system on me.
I just placed my order and waited for Ford to build it
