can confirm this, just did it today with the dealer. They thought it wasn’t possible, but after going back and selecting Power Running Boards it added a zero cost line item and Tremor was still on the build order.

By the way, why didn’t you like Oxford White? I’m going back and forth about possibly changing to the star white but my wife has that and I’m not sure how I like that on a truck.

I saw the Oxford in person and I felt it clashed. It’s one of my fav colors but with all the new steps and the longer vents…. I dunno. It felt too busy.

Nice looking truck! Would you mind sharing your order trim/level/options? I'm curious because I have a Glacier Grey Metallic on order and thought the "Tremor" badge on the bed was an orange-ish color. I guess I assumed it was vehicle color based but I prefer your grey/black Tremor decal instead; do you know if you have that one from a Black Appearance Pkg (BAP) option possibly?

I bet if you got a small dealer with an allocation yet, if you place it, it’d get scheduled in a week or two. Look up the Long McArthur videos on YT to see when they’re scheduling for so you can gauge when to place the order.

Just two pennies this hasn’t been my experience and I don’t know why. Small dealer (by CA standards at least), say they have an allocation, and my order placed 9/15 still hasn’t been picked up. Not hating it as I just changed my order last weekend from an iconic silver XLT to a Rapid Red Lariat.

Did you get the Boxlink tie downs in your ‘24? I’m confused about it. I know some said they’re not include with the ‘24 but it’s an included option on the Ford site. Unless I’m reading it wrong.

Yes there even listed on the window sticker.. Should've been included.

I went back and asked him and this went on my
Fleet account. He said this truck wouldn’t have been built (yet?) if it went retail.

Don’t know anything about that. I buy a ton of Fords for my business but my dealership doesn’t have a fleet department so I don’t know that process. I have always just had them locate what we need or buy from the incoming inventory that is available.

Well, I'm an idiot. I completely forgot to make sure I had them. I just sent an email to Granger. I'll report back to what they say.
Unfortunately, the wife and kids just wanted to get back on the road to get back to the hotel for food and swimming.
I'm sure Granger will make it right. I have no reason to believe otherwise.

I actually just compared the window stickers of my 23 and 24 Platinum Tremors... I'm thinking the actual box link is not included on the 24 anymore. The 23 specifically has box link listed as a standard feature at the top. The 24 does not list box link at all.

I just went back and looked and mine also does not include the box link on the order form. Maybe it’s an included option under 713a or one of the other packages but not called specifically out? Either way, they can’t be that expensive or aftermarket may be better.

Yeah, I just went back to look at my old window sticker.The first line under standard features says boxlink specifically on the old window sticker. I guess it’s just an extra tiedown point now. Unless you want to buy the old plate and boxlink tie downs.

I was able to retrieve my window sticker this morning! I’m so damn excited to get my Tremor!!

I waited until 12-6 but basically have the same build different color. When I got my confirmation from Ford, along with my build link from my dealer it was fine (no supply line issues) . I clicked on it the other day seeing about the tie down straps (says they were included) and it said there are limits on available items due to supply chain. I hope I get a truck this year. Dealer said 4 to 6 months so we'll see. My 45 day window for scheduling is early February. How long did you wait before you got schedule from Ford confirmation?

So I made the order 8/2/23. I received one 45 day correspondence from ford before the strike. After the strike I got zero from ford. In December I started using Ford chat. Anyway I was finally scheduled for production on 12/16/23.

Chip at Granger called ford. Boxlink is gone for the ‘24. The new design allows you to put a hook right in there now. Ford said it was tested and just as strong. They said if you want the old design, the old plate will fit right on, then you need to buy the lock in tie downs.
