Yeah, other than harassing me, the radios are fun to point out interesting things we drive past. We won’t need them for traversing obstacles or anything like that. I just enjoy group rides more when I can communicate with the other drivers.
I didn't even think about this harassment angle, now I'm even more excited! haha!

guys, i do not own a GMRS radio. however, i can get water, snacks, fire extinguisher and a huge smile. educate me on the radio stuff. do i really need one? if i need one, will a pawn shop have them? or where do you guys suggest i get one?
I also do not have a GMRS radio, planned on getting one but wont be able to before the trip unfortunately.
