I talked to someone that has a F250 tremor and he purchased an OBD II Adapter from Amazon $20 and used Forscan to remove the governor and said it also fixed the throttle response and shifting patterns. Looking for advise to do something like this on a basic level without having to add a bunch of aftermarket parts. Any advise?

I don't think any of that is doable via Forscan. I also wouldn't use a cheap interface cable. All you need is for it to drop signal halfway thru writing and brick your truck.

As far as what it can do and what devices you need to do it, check here...https://forscan.org/home.html

Interesting. Thanks for the info!

Gas motor truck??

Doubt any of that's happening. Many have claimed as you described and several here have tried various modes (police settings and such) and not one person has demonstrated it unless they've gone with a true tune.

Spend the money on the correct wired cable that will also auto switch for you for MS/HS modules.
This is the one I use and is FS approved. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B081VQVD3F/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1

ForScan isn't going to remove any "governor" on the diesel trucks. There is a thing where you can turn off the Adaptive Learning function once the transmission shifts how you prefer.
