37x12.50 vs 37x13.50 No Lift

From what I have seen +18 to maybe +12 is where you want to be for minimal rub, less offset than that and you start to get in to wheel well rub. CJC has a video showing how to clearance the back of the wheel well and they mention this. Lift shouldn't make much difference unless full time on the road without much use of suspension travel. The main reason that 23+ can fit 37's easier than previous years is only because of the change that was made to the radius arms and sway bar. Those were both rub points on the 17-22 without reducing wheel offset, but again, you can only reduce offset so far before rubbing elsewhere.

+18 to +12 offset on a 8.5" or 9" wheel would be my choice if trying to fit a 37x12.5. I would then just live with any minor rub that might potentially be there in off road use.

Agree. I'm going to change to a 17x9.5 with a +12 offset.

So sick!!! Those race line wheels? What’s the poke look like? If you get a picture from the front or rear, please post it. Thanks.
Thanks! Yes, they're Raceline Gauge wheels, 18x9 +18 offset. This is the 2nd truck I put them on. My '19 Ram 2500 looked bad ass with them on too. Love these wheels!! And if anybody asks about the new Falken R/T tires... they're DAMN good! Just took a trip to Washington and drove through nasty rain and snowstorms and they handled like a dream. They stick to the dry roads really well too. Was pushing them pretty hard in the corners on the way home after the storm passed. Way quieter than the garbage Goodyear stockers too!

I was actually going to take front and rear pics today so you can see how the tires stick out. Will update soon. Thanks again for the comment.

Agreed those give a killer look! Thanks for the feedback on the falken Rts. I had those on my jeep and loved them too. Look forward to seeing more pics!

Wheel offset calculator does show just under 3/8" more clearance with that wheel size/offset compared to stock. Is that all.you need to clear a 13.5?

I have no data, just the advice of the most knowledgeable guy at Southern OffRoad Specialties, who stated they have done this setup before.

I’m going to try going 13.5 on zero offset. No lift. Will definitely report back with my findings. I’m totally ready to trim the backside of the wheel well but hope that’s all I need

Method MR305 NV HD 18x9 +18mm Offset 8x170 for me here on mine with the new Falkon Wildpeak R/T 37s. Think they are actually 36.5s. No lift. Doesn't rub at full lock. But if I'm off road or in reverse and hitting bigger bumps / flexed while I'm turned it will rub. Normal driving zero rub. I believe that also has to do with having extra weight in the back with the Topper and an additional 37 spare wheel and tire along with the factory spare still in place. Lifts the front up just a touch and truck sits pretty level.

You can also go 37x11.5 on oem wheels. They clear with no rub, no trimming

Dude!!! Your truck looks so good. Are your 37s 12.5 or 13.5 wide? Also, how do you like the SmartCap? Funny because I am sitting in a shop right now as my smart cap is being put on my truck.

These are the exact ones on my truck:
FAL WILDPEAK R/T01 37 X12.50R18 LT 128R E2 BSW

Smart cap is really nice. Seals up 100% and has never leaked. Happy with the purchase.

I'm on stock suspension with cooper 37s 12.5 wide. On 17" method rims with zero offset. No rubbing other than a very little bit on the front valance at partial lock when deflated or flexed only. Regular road driving no issue.

I've just installed Raceline 948B 17x9 -12 with Falken AT3w in 37x12.5R17 and I have rubbing at about half steering wheel turn. Both sides, it's hitting the fender flare on the inboard edge.

I'm also running the Carli backcountry leveling version (2.5" lift on the Tremors) and the Carli sway bar. So no full lock issues.

I'm going to be buying a set of +18 offset wheels and moving these tires over as 1) It's a little too pokey for me and 2) The ~30MM inward movement will put the tire where it doesn't rub.

Awesome!! Really appreciate the reply. This helps me make a decision on wheel/tire combo!!

Just finished getting my smart cap on. Part of the club

Setup looks killer. Exactly the feedback I was looking for. I want to go with zero offset as well. How much do the tires poke out?

Thanks for this. I assumed zero offset would make it close to rubbing and anything negative would definitely rub. Good to know.

By the way, what method did you use to remove the "smartcap" decals? Thats on my to do list.

I would say minimal. It looks like more poke from an angle but dead on I would say the tread is even with the fender and the sidewall sticks out a little more. To me it looks right. I don't like a lot of poke.
