35's vs 37's

Here’s a couple of pics that I took to show Stock versus leveled with the factory tire/wheel set up.
I want to do this exact setup. I really like the stock tires and rims. Seriously considering the 2.5" Carli pinto system.

However, the 37's do look nice and probably ride better after watching CJC Offroad videos. So still thinking about it.

I have a 2021 7.3 tremor w/ the 2.5” ready lift leveling kit with 37” Nitto ridge grapplers that looks and works great. I also had a 2017 w/ the 6.2 gas that I did the same set up that worked great also. A friend of mine with the same 2017 f250 except his was diesel, he had to put a 6” lift on his 2017 to accomplish the same look bc of the much heavier diesel motor. I’m assuming the diesel motor is still much heavier than the 7.3 I have now, but I agree the 37” look better if it will work w/ the diesel motor set up.
Good luck
I love the look of your clearance lights. Are those OEM? If so how did you black them out?

You can buy a black out set, or some use a spray tint. I see your in San Antonio, I'm in the hill country

Get 37's - you will never look back! Look great, perform great and ride good - no downside - except and extra inch to get in the cab!

Yeah I am convinced on the 37s now. Already told CJC off road to order 37s for my E-Venture suspension install later this month.

Folks, I have a question and would love to get some feedback from all the great people on this forum. I just traded my 17 F250 (6.7) which had 20inch rims and 35inch tires (with a BDS leveling kit and fox shocks). I now have a new 21 Tremor (6.7) and have ordered a Carli commuter leveling kit and am trying to decide between 20inch rims with 35 or 37 inch tires. The 35's were fine but I like the look of the 37's I am seeing in pics on this forum. I love the Falken wildpeak tires (they are amazing in all weather conditions). I use this vehicle as my daily driver and for road trips. I don't do much off-roading except to get to hunting land. Your feedback would be appreciated! Thank You
I love 37s on a tremor. 37 Nittos on 18x9 icon wheels

While I like how 37’s look we went with 35x12.50r18’s since we travel quite a bit and am really happy happy with the wider tires

Plus the OEM spare tire still works & no need to buy a 5th tire and find a place to keep it

Honestly from an aesthetic point; which is subjective; i love the 37s on 17s
Yes, I agree. When the Ridge Grapplers wear out, I am going to swap them for Toyo AT3s for a softer ride on the highway, but the RGs ride pretty good at 38F/35R.

I'm thinking about 37's. Has anyone tried 37 x 13.50's? I see 37 x 12.50's but not the 13.50's. Or did I miss it?

You missed it. There are several members running 13.50” wide tires. Wheel width comes into play, as most of them require a wider wheel. Do a quick search to find the threads.

If you want 13.5 wide go 38x13.5. 4in lift clears 38s perfectly and that tire size looks perfectly proportionate.

I'm stock height in rear, and Carli leveled in front. I'm not 100% sure I'd clear the 37's already, let alone 38's! LOL!

37x12.5 will clear with level kit

I'm considering 18x9 zero offset rims with 37x13.50's - do you think I'd have any issue with that?

With 13.5 wide it might rub a little but should be fine. Might be better if you could go to a slightly negative offset.

Thanks.

(Your truck looks like perfection, BTW.)

I have the Carli commuter kit and just recently put 37x13.5 on stock wheels. There’s a very slight bit of rub on the radius arms at full lock. I’ve got a set of .5” spacers on the way from Bora which should alleviate the rubbing.

My 37x13.50 Geolander X-ATs came yesterday as did my Rough Country 3" Temor level kit. I called RC before ordering both and the rep said 13.50s were not an issue. I ordered a Delium Terra Raider 37x12.50 as the spare. FYI, unmounted and unloaded, the Yokohamas measure 35.6. Havent measured the Delium yet, but it looks shorter. Since my 23 is still in build phase, I figured I still had some time on rims, but donut availability at a decent price is low. I was not spending over 380 bucks per tire. Got the Yokos at 364 each and the Delium at 288.
