Same here, Born in Jan 78. Until today I had never even heard the term Echo Boomer. Lol! I dont think I would call this truck my mid life crisis, more of just a next in line truck. But if it my mid life crisis it ended up being a hell of alot cheaper than a new girlfriend and a divorce!!!?

Not sure where the info for years came from. But I'm a GenX 1978, all my life I have been a GenX. I know some have GenX ending somewhere from 1977 to 1985. Wikipedia says this about "Echo Boomers", the first I have heard about this Gen so have google it. "Millennials are sometimes called Echo Boomers, due to them often being the offspring of the baby boomers, the significant increase in birth rates from the early 1980s to mid-1990s, and their generation's large size relative to that of boomers." So I'm sticking with being a GenX.

I figure if you're old enough that your birthdays aren't cause for excitement, and young enough that they are not cause for worry - then you're middle aged. And using mid-life crisis as an excuse during that time is both fun and fruitful.

Old in my mind is always 20 years older than I am.

I do like how when kids are little they count part years - “I’m 5!” to “ Well I’m 5 and 2 months!”. When my grandfather was around I noticed he reverted back to that - he ask some other old guy he’d meet, “How old are you kid?” They’d reply, “92” to which Pa would go, “Hmm I’m 93 and a half!”

I guess my wife and I are echo boomers, although that's a new category to me. In the context of the normal Gen X versus Millennial threshold, I'm a really young Gen X-er, and my wife is a really old Millennial. All that to say I enjoy greatly reminding my wife that's she's a Millennial, technically. Always good for a sneer and smart arse response out of her. Good entertainment, if you enjoy getting your spouse or significant other wound up. No particular offense meant to you actual Millennials.

Also, who are you guys in your 20's buying a truck this expensive? I must have missed something in the birth lottery. Sheesh!

Most the jokes are concerning millennials that were born later than 84...at least thats what I've come to understand.
